Clickup removed my historical data at my monthly renewal. They changed my plan to be more limited without any communication regarding any changes. I logged in on August 21 to see more than 80 historical tasks removed. When trying to request my data be restored, Clickup gaslighted me by suggesting there is no problem and my account was always this way. They offered a $10 credit to resolve the issue without any interest in restoring the data they wrongfully removed from my account. I have tried to communicate with support about this and have not been successful in retrieving my data that was wrongfully removed. I suggest giving your $$ to a more reputable and ethically-minded company who cares about their customers and their businesses. This issue has caused a serious problem for my business, as I have to move forward with a gigantic gap in project data. Truly appalling.

    Business Response

My name is ******, and Im a Support Manager at ClickUp. I want to personally acknowledge that this situation was not handled the way it should have been.

I understand how serious it is to feel like important data has gone missing, and our priority has always been to restore that datanot to resolve the issue with a small credit. Unfortunately, that intent was not communicated well in our earlier response, and I take responsibility for that.

Ive taken ownership of this case and am working directly with our team to investigate and recover the missing information. Weve reached out to request secure, temporary access to the customers Workspace so we can troubleshoot and move quickly toward resolution.

Were committed to seeing this through and will continue working with the customer until their data is restored and their account is back to normal.

I was working with a sales person from Click Up who provided us a trial, I asked for a 30 day trial and he responded saying our trial was approved, what he didnt state was the trial was approved for 5 days, so we are mid-evaluation with services not working / not clearly understood and our sales person has ghosted us because he said he submitted an extension request and the support team has yet to process it. This is a very hard sell for us, not only has sales dropped the ball but so has support - its hard to justify moving to a paid version of our evaluation hasnt exactly yielded any positive results and its not due to the platform, its just lack of assistance.

No idea how they got my payment information, but their service team is slow and replies once a week. I would like a refund as I don't use their service. I'm in the middle of filing a chargeback with my bank because click up has been so unhelpful.

I tried to upgrade a product that was advertised as costing $5.60/month but when checking out, it said the promo discount is an error and it can't proceed with the transaction unless the price goes up to $7/month. I have submit numerous help tickets and the business has failed to contact me regarding this issue/false advertising.

I purchased a subscription to ClickUp a few months ago. Because I initially liked ClickUp, I opted to purchase an annual subscription instead of paying monthly. I no longer need this product, so I downgraded. Despite paying for an annual subscription, I immediately lost access to paid features - which is perfectly fine, as I will no longer be using the product. However, I emailed to inquire about getting a prorated refund since I lost the features and also have no desire to continue using the product. I was told that, as per their terms of service, I cannot receive any kind of refund but I could receive a workspace credit. I do not agree with this. I paid hundreds of dollars that I have now lost because ClickUp is refusing to provide me with a prorated refund for a prepaid amount, yet also removed the features that I paid for. Whereas if I would have opted to pay monthly, this would not be an issue. This is 100% theft - you cannot charge people for services that you are not providing. I would please like to get the prorated refund that I am owed.
