I contacted Paralegal Kristin H******* by phone for her paralegal services regarding a possible divorce. While speaking with her she became irritated by questions I was asking. Basically, I was interviewing her to see if I would use her services. As she was explaining her answers she started to use a lot of swear words. God damn, ****, **** and I was caught off guard by her lack of behavior & common decency. When I was explaining something my wife wanted to accomplish she said "I don't give a **** what she wants". I thought, should I retain her. I gave her a chance & made an appointment. At the appointment my wife & I sat down to start asking questions how she worked & what would be the process. However, Mrs H******* started to talk about her family & son & their life experiences & successes. I timed her & she spoke for 45 minutes bragging about herself & family. Once I was able to get her to stop talking I began asking questions pertaining to why we were there in the first place. Her attitude switched from bragging to an aggressive approach in answering my questions. The more questions I asked the more she became impatient, over bearing & rude with her behavior. She started to use her swear words & treated me like I was a nobody. She constantly raised her voice, pointed her finger at me & was insulting my intelligence. I am a 69 year old retired Federal Police Officer with a B.S. in Law that now owns & operates a Real Estate Brokerage Company. I asked her to clarify an answer she gave me & she became so upset with me she started yelling & belittling me for asking for clarification. I said well maybe I should hire an attorney instead of you if I can't get a clear answer from you. She became furious by my statement & was now acting very rude & trying to belittle me more in front of my wife. I spoke up & said that's enough, this meeting is over. I said you are extremely rude, I got out of the chair & walked out the door. Big Suggestion, try another Paralegal!
