    I am a tenant at the apartments of **************************************************************************. C&C Property Management is supposed to be the entity who manages the property. The apartments are secured by a locked gate at the entrance, which requires a numbered code to open. For the past 4 weeks, the gate lock has been acting faulty, and myself and other tenants are getting locked out of our apartments. We have contacted C&C multiple times over the weeks, and they are not taking any action to fix the lock. This needs to be addressed ASAP, as it is unacceptable for us to continually be unable to access our homes.

    I have tried to use C&C twice now, after seeing ads on Zillow and *********** wife and I both pay $40 each to be able to apply for rental properties. But when we do we are only allowed to submit one application at a time, then never hear back. We feel they are scamming many people out of their application fee and making a profit from that. No office no real credit. Please look into them.

    They rented a property to me that had an inoperable dishwasher and oven (uninhabitable) and did not fix these issues for four months. I took time off work for each electrician appointment but an electrician never showed up to the property. I could no longer live without an oven and although I requested a rent credit each month they refused. I hired an electrician myself after living this way for four months because my son was coming home from college and I needed to fix him meals. Rather than be pleased about me fixing up their property, they continue to deny my request for a rent credit when I lived without these appliances. They are bullying me and telling me that I owe money because I finally deducted the repair and a fee for the time without the appliances from my rent. The home was marketed and I have paid on time $3700 month, with the exception of last month when I took the reasonable rent deduction of $100 per month per appliance that was not functioning. They say I have not provided receipts, other than the electrician, but of course this is impossible as I am simply requesting that they charge me a fair market value for a place that had non-functioning appliances, which seems totally reasonable to me under the circumstances because the property was not legally habitable.

    I was looking into a renting home on the central coast, I stumbled onto a home thinking it would be great fit for me. The place had been up on the website for several weeks at the point. The company required me to apply for every person planning on moving into the home and pay their fee of 90 dollar (one from me and my partner) . They told me I would not be able to look at this property without sending them an application for a weekend tour. The company had ZERO communication and they were not transparent at all. You have to call them every day to get any information on a rental and every time you call them, they would tell you application are being reviewed. They keep stringing you along. I was told about 2 weeks into this process that my application was excellent, and they will call me the following week , I had no communication, I later found out the property I was looking into had been taken off the market. When I called the to complain about the property being off the market, why they didnt inform me, when all evidence was pointing to getting on me getting the property. They seem to have a standard scripted excuses we gave it to an elderly couple with a 800 credit score. Which seemed , unlikely given the size and location of the home. I requested a refund for my applications and they of course, denied it. They told me they would move my applications fee for another property, but they would not refund it. This company is a Scam to collect application fees, they leave their property up on Zillow and other platforms for weeks to collect as much money as possible, then they never call, email, or text you. They have ZERO communication.

    Filled out a maintenance request to repair a broken window balancer (piece that keeps the window in an open position), almost 1 year ago. ********* came out to look at it and said he needed to order parts, and then we didn't hear anything until about 3 weeks ago, when he came out and installed the wrong part. Due to the incorrect part being installed, the window broke, and C&C said it was our fault because they "fixed" it properly. I have a repair estimate that clearly states the wrong parts were installed, yet they refuse to take any responsibility.
