We purchased an HVAC unit and an extended warranty plan from Valley Air Conditioning and Repair (VAC). One month after we purchased the unit it broke down. We asked for a replacement unit since it had broken down so soon. VAC failed to submit a claim for replacement to the manufacture and did not even submit a work order warranty claim to the manufacturer for the repairs done. Due to VAC's negligence in not immediately submitting a claim for replacement as soon as possible after installation showing the unit to be faulty, we have been denied a new unit. As the numerous repairs went on, we continued for years requesting to get an assessment and claim for a replacement unit. The unit has continually broke down causing our family hardship and duress. VAC failed to submit warranty claims to the manufacturer which would have proved how consistently faulty the unit was. They submitted 4 out of 16 claims. VAC did not honor our warranty-Manager ***** ********* is responsible. He also has refused to take our calls, return our calls or reply to our correspondence. VAC has left us with a defective and deteriorating unit, they installed the wrong motor, removed brackets and did terrible workmanship that caused extensive damage to the unit, caused tremendous violent and loud shaking on one side of the house, caused us to vacate the house and live in a hotel twice due to extreme heat hardship, left the unit to continue to fall apart. They would constantly bypass the unit to just keep it running and the unit has progressively gotten worse and deteriorated. We could not turn the unit off as it would not come back. Since VAC refused to honor our warranty claim and refused to acknowledge us, we hired a different HVAC company to come out and service the unit. There were many items wrong with the unit that should have been addressed by VAC. Repairs were made and it was obvious how VAC is liable due to the damage their neglect caused the unit and hardships we had to endure.
