    We have taken three of our cars to Ace Window Tint and his team over the years so I was really surprised to have damage to our vehicle. We took our car to get window tint on 1/17/2025 and they sliced up our sunroof seal with a razor blade while cutting the tint to size, on the sunroof! I called them and explained the damage and I returned the next day to show them. I also just took photos of the sunroof 30 minutes before I dropped the car off at the shop, and it shows the razor slices in the rubber were clearly not there before we dropped the car off for tint service, the rubber seal is in perfect condition. ******, the owner, looked at the damage, was defensive and kept saying they don't cut on top of the roof. I had to explain and show him many times that they clearly cut on the rubber seal and showing him pictures of the obvious before photos which show ZERO damage. I have photos before I remind him, and he still fought me on it! I was beyond upset about this as we had just purchased the car and ****** just kept saying we don't cut near the sunroof, and I just kept stating, well your guy obviously did! At this point my husband called and talked to ******.Eventually ****** said he will work on getting this repaired and that he would need to go through his insurance. We thought this would be taken care of, clearly, we were wrong. After hours trying to figure out how to get this repaired, talking to different repair shops and dealers, we then begin to deal with ******** insurance. After many days of phone tag, we find out it's not the insurance ****** had at the time of the incident and that he's changed insurances, which we were not told, hence more phone tag back and forth trying to get this sorted out. Finally getting through to the correct insurance, and HE HAS NO COVERAGE FOR DAMAGE TO VEHICLES! We are now headed to small claims court to sue for all repairs totaling, $5191.55, not including time spent, and windshield repair if it breaks during repairs.
