I have been a JustFab Vip member since 2017. Now, suddenly, they have a new policy where credits expire, and I was never updated on this policy until having my credit revoked nor agreed to continue my membership under these new terms. Thus, I have paid them and received absolutely zero products or reimbursement, as they state my credit has expired. I contacted them on the EXACT date of this expiration, 2025-02-01, and was reassured by an agent that as a one-time courtesy for being a long-time customer that they would add my credit back to my account. It has been almost 90 days, and I have yet to receive my credit or refund. Every time I attempt to contact customer service regarding this matter, I express my desire to cancel my membership due to this matter. I get reassured once again that they will make it right and ask me not to cancel then I am disconnected. They are essentially stealing money!

I have been attempting to cancel my account with Fab Kids for months and **** keep letting my chat time out or put me on hold for a substantial amount of time and never answering. I then decided to order clothes in order to use the credits I have, and my order suddenly got canceled. I keep trying to discuss this with **** but they keep timing my chat out and make me start over.

I have been a member of JustFab since December 30, 2017. As of today, April 3 I have had 36 credits removed from my account. Upon reading other solutions that just fab has submitted from other customers filing the same complaint, I have noticed there was a mandatory opt in totheir changes but no idea when these changes were as one response said the op in was September 1, 2023, and the other one stated November 1, 23. My complaint is 7/18/23, 25 of my credits were retroactively changed and an expiration date was added as 11/1/2023 and his current status shows expired. Also on 7/18/23, an additional 11 credits were changed to no expiration date and whose current status shows transferred. Depending on when I purchase these credits I paid either $29.99, $39.99, or $49.99. I do have an additional three credits that were issued after the policy change and have since expired in my opinion that is perfectly legal. I would also like to note that in my account for email settings I have never, unsubscribe me from emails. So I have never receivedan email about this policy change and that my credits were going to be taken away.I want the 36 credits that were erroneously taken from me, added back to my account or all of the items refunded to me. The contract that I had in place with this company when these credits were purchased, and the money withdrawn from my account did not have an expiration date a company cannot decide that due to a policy change theyre going to retroactively remove my credits without refunding me the money. That is theft and breach of contract likeI stated after their policy change I am 100% OK with the credits expiring for the ones that I purchased after the policy change. My issue is 100% with them stealing my credits/money prior to their policy change. The dollar value on these credits is between $1300 and $1800.

      Hello ****,

Thank you for contacting us through the BBB.

Please note that all VIP credits expire 12 months from the date of issuance. As of October 28, 2023, your account opted into our updated Terms and Conditions. Under these revised terms, the reinstatement or refund of expired credits is no longer permitted due to the age of the original transactions. When you accepted the updated terms, the expiration period was reset to 12 months from that date for any remaining credits on the account.

These terms were presented via a pop-up on our website, which required acknowledgment before you could proceed. For your convenience, you can review our full Terms and Conditions here: ***************************************************.

At this time, there are 7 active credits on your account. Additionally, 11 credits had previously aged and were converted to gift cards before the policy update. We can either provide you with the gift card codes or issue a refund for them via check, which typically takes 4 to 6 weeks for delivery.

If you would like to proceed with a check refund, please confirm your full name and current shipping address.

      Best,

I have been a member of just fab for some years during Covid. I have to let my subscription go, however I still have credits on my accountand use them often in the past whenever credits were about to expire. I would receive notification that they were expiring or that they had expired and be provided with gift code numbers to replace the credits on the account. To be clear, the credits would disappear from the account however they will provide me with gift codes to use in the future to replace those creditsin April 2024. I received an email stating I had credits expiring and was given to gift codes in October 2024 three credits were subtracted my account. I receive no email about the gift codes. I contacted just fab and they told me all they would do was give me $30. Each. Credit is over *****. So basically they only gave me $30 for $120+ worth of missing credits. I tried to tell them that that is unacceptable. What happened to my gift codes so then they tried to tell me that I accepted their terms of not receiving any refunds I said Ive never accepted any such term. have been a member of justfab for a while. I know how it works. They always give gift codes when credits expired, or they would provide you with a store credit if there was an issue, however, now this company is just taking peoples money and only offering them $10. At this point I would like for this to be resolved by giving me back to credits because theyve already given me $30 which is notthe full amount of a credit however thats fine but I would like back to credits.

I have a JustFab VIP account. That I pay a ***** fee to use for future purchase. However, I would try to use my credit and this is the experience I received. I talked to many **** who stated a escalation was needed. I waited over a 1 week for a refund however. the last *** became combative and stated that I am no longer going to receive my created back.Complaint Against JustFab Failure to Refund 7 Membership Credits ($449.91)I am filing this complaint due to JustFabs failure to refund 9 expired credits, totaling $449.91, despite a clear verbal agreement from their ***resentative that all 9 of my credits would be refunded. Background / Initial Contact On 03/04/2025, I contacted JustFab and spoke with *** regarding my 9 membership credits ($49.95 each, totaling $449.55). Around Febuary 2025 I saw that I had 9 credits so why did my money expired. (money does not expire) I informed *** that I was moving trying to place orders yet my order were being cancel do to shipping issues, thus JustFab stated fire and another time it was a delay in shipping or a warehouse issue. so I would be unable to use my credits. I was told that they would look into and refund my credits to Honor Agreement. OnIy have checked to see if my credit have been refunded and they have only give 90 (10 dollars per vip credits). Thats ****** less then what I was paying and tried to use. I immediately called customer service and was told to wait a few more for another 2 days, JustFab now tells me that I cannot be refunded my credits. Justfab must honor the agreement made by their ***resentative, and process the full refund. If no refund, I will escalate this issue further, including contacting consumer protection agencies and financial institution. At this point I want a full refund and a closure of my account for their misleading practices. Money does not expire. And they did not make a full effort to correct this issue

I am rejecting this response because:

Because under California contract law CIV code 1550

      Consent:
Parties must freely and voluntarily agree to the terms of the contract, without any duress, coercion, or undue influence. I have never agreed to to this contract and was mislead. The changes they made were after fact and I never  agreed to changes.

      Breach of Contract:
Failure to perform the obligations under a contract constitutes a breach, which can lead to legal remedies. Serveral times I tried to use my credits, however Justfab failed to deliver order products leading to a delay of use. Thus, said current policy made ordering difficult and thus a breech or both contracts. Again I agreed to the interpretation of said contract that was entered before 2023. Sending an email is not acceptable as just cause to end said contract.

Again before all this began I tried to make a large order that they Justfab cancel or made excuses for failure to deliver. And again they excuses have not made me whole. Additionally I become aware of a class action vs Justfab and I view their practices to be deceptive. I have been trying to use my credits for sometime and they have failed to deliver on order products leading to this current situation.

      Sincerely,

I have been a member of JustFab since 2014. Every month I missed to skip the month, the company charged me $49.95 which will count as VIP credit that I can use later. When I signed up in 2014, there was no expiration for this credit. I have 7 VIP credits total of $349 on my account that were expired. **************** advised me that expiration policy has been in policy for 2 years now. But I was not even aware of it. JustFab did not give enough notice for this expiration. There is no expiration reminders in the website. And, I also didnt sign any agreement for this new expiration policy. As per ****************, they will give me $10 for each credit total of $70 for compensation, but this is not fair. I want my credits back that I can use even for limited time, or a refund. Hope you can help me with this. Thanks.

I have been a JustFab VIP member since 2017 and had five VIP credits totaling $249.75, which were still available in my account as of July 2023. In July 2023, JustFab announced an upgraded membership policy, which explicitly stated that VIP credits would expire after 12 months but that members would receive expiration reminders three months before expiration. However, JustFab failed to send me any expiration reminders for these five VIP credits. When I logged into my account in February 2025, I discovered that all five credits had expired on September 1, 2024, without notice. I checked my inbox, spam, and all email foldersI did not receive any reminder emails as promised in their policy update. When I contacted JustFab customer service, they first offered only $10 per expired credit as store credit. After escalating the issue, they promised to review my case and provide a response within 24 to 48 business hours. However, despite their assurance, I never received any response, follow-up, or resolution.Additionally, I still have one remaining VIP credit, valid until March 2025, and JustFab has again failed to send any expiration reminders for it. This shows an ongoing failure to adhere to their own policies regarding customer notifications.Resolution Requested:Reinstatement of my five expired VIP credits ($249.75 total) due to JustFabs failure to send required reminders.Documentation proving that expiration reminders were sentif JustFab claims they were.A guarantee that all members will receive expiration notices as promised to prevent future issues.JustFabs handling of VIP credits is misleading and unfair to long-term customers. They failed to follow their own policy, refused to provide proof of notification, and ignored their own escalation process. I request that JustFab correct this issue immediately.

      Complaint: 23005774

I am rejecting this response because: JustFab has failed to provide any proof that they sent expiration reminder emails, as required by their own policy.

In their July 2023 membership update, JustFab explicitly stated:
"Unused VIP credits will expire after 12 monthsbut don't worry, we'll start reminding you 3 months before expiration, so you'll have plenty of time to shop!"

However, I never received any such reminders before my five VIP credits expired on September 1, 2024. I have checked my email inbox, spam folder, and promotions folderthere is no record of JustFab sending these notifications.

JustFab's response merely repeats their expiration policy but does not acknowledge that they failed to notify me in advance. Additionally, I requested proof that these reminder emails were sent, yet JustFab has provided no evidence to support their claim.

Furthermore, I still have one active VIP credit that expires in March 2025, and JustFab has again failed to send any reminder emails for it, proving that this is an ongoing issue affecting customers.

      I request that ******************** either:

      1) Reinstate my five expired VIP credits, OR
      2) Provide verifiable proof (with timestamps) that expiration reminder emails were sent to my account.

******************** cannot enforce an expiration policy while failing to uphold their own commitment to notify members beforehand. If they continue to refuse to address this issue, I will escalate my complaint further.

      Complaint: 23005774

I Do Not Accept the Response Made by the Business to Resolve This Complaint
      Response:
I am rejecting this response because JustFab continues to avoid addressing the core issue and has still failed to provide any proof that expiration reminder emails were sent.
JustFab's response claims that expiration dates were displayed in banners within emails and in the Account section of their website. However, this does not fulfill the explicit promise made in their July 2023 membership update, which states:
"Unused VIP credits will expire after 12 monthsbut don't worry, we'll start reminding you 3 months before expiration, so you'll have plenty of time to shop!"
A general website display or unspecified email banners are not the same as direct reminder emails notifying customers of upcoming expiration. J****** has not provided any evidence that such reminders were ever sent to my account.
Furthermore, I still have one active VIP credit that expires in March 2025, and I have once again received no expiration reminder emails for it. This proves an ongoing failure to notify customers as promised.
      My Request Remains the Same:
Reinstate my five expired VIP credits, OR
Provide verifiable proof (with timestamps) that expiration reminder emails were sent to my account.
******************** cannot enforce an expiration policy while failing to uphold their own commitment to notify members beforehand. If they continue to refuse a resolution, I will escalate my complaint further with additional consumer protection agencies.

This business is extremely predatory and has been robbing countless people nationwide.I made ONE $30 purchase for TWO BATHING SUITS in 2019, and since then (now Feb, 2025) have been unable to cancel the monthly recurring subscription of then 39$, now 45$ per month. I have been ROBBED THOUSANDS BY THIS COMPANY. I have called many times and chatted through their online website with their customer service representatives who give me a run around and ultimately do not cancel the subscription. On one occasion that I called, the woman told me that she can cancelled it only to find my bank to be charged and so on. I have tried to eliminate the payment method listed, but it does not change as it requires a payment type on file to update.I have changed my bank card three times now and they still manage to pull funds from my account. This is robbery, I am a working class individual who cannot afford to keep paying these exuberant monthly charges for a service I do not use nor need. If anyone in *** can help me, or if there are other victims to this scam, I would like to commit to a class action law suit against this company. Similarly in 2014, they were sued and won in the state of **********. Sincerely, I hope if nothing else, this posts helps other people not fall into this money grabbing scheme.

      Hello *****,

Thank you for reaching out through the BBB. Wed like to clarify the charges on your account, which are related to your VIP Membership. You enrolled on July 21, 2019, after redeeming our 2-for-$24 new VIP introductory offer. Before completing checkout, our shopping cart provides a summary of how the VIP Membership works, including important disclosures. To proceed, customers must agree to the VIP Membership Terms & Conditions and the Terms of Use of our site.

As part of the membership, you must log in and select ***** the Month" between the 1st and 5th of each month if you do not wish to be charged. If the ***** the Month" option is not selected, an automatic monthly membership fee of $49.95 is charged on the 6th of each month (until cancellation), which is then converted into a promotional VIP Credit for future purchases.

Our records indicate that your account has 62 credits in total, and we have already refunded 12 credits, totaling $599.40. Due to the amount of time that has passed since the original billing, we are unable to process electronic refunds for the remaining credits. However, we can issue a check, which will be delivered within 4 to 6 weeks. Please confirm your shipping address and the name for the check, and we will process it promptly.

Additionally, we have canceled your membership, and you will no longer be billed moving forward.

Please let us know if you have any further questions.

I went on my just fab account in December and found that all my credits were gone. Those credit were accumulated due to me forgetting to skip a month however instead of requesting my money back I kept the credits expecting to use them later. I had about 8 credits and as I look online I found that they imitated this policy in 10 /2023 and I keep all my emails and I do not see any correspondence from just fab informing me of this change or that my credits were due to expire . Lastly those credits were purchased before this so called New stipulation was initiated . There needs to be a class action lawsuit on this because just because it is a credit I used my money to purchase it how does my money expire ! This is a joke and way for this company to take from consumers . The credit are used to buy THIER products on THEIR website why are they expiring. I know that just fab have their own reasoning to expire these credits however when you also have a policy in place that allows this company to access your bank account each month if you dont skip a month just feels unfair to me please help me to get my money back I can not just throw away approximately & 400 dollars!

      Hello *****,

Thank you for contacting us through the BBB. All promotional member credits will expire 12 months after the date of issuance. As stated in the new terms and conditions, which were opted into on 08/03/2023, the reinstatement of expired credits is no longer possible due to the age of the initial transactions. Reminders of credit expiration are included in the emails we send out. For your reference, you can learn more about our terms here: ***************************************************.
