    Disputing $5,500 rent adjustment for the *****************************************************************************. The kitchen and Living Room has been unusable due to rodents dwelling underneath sink and inside stove and in 2 areas in the living room making the kitchen/living room unsanitary due to rodent nesting, urine and droppings.The landlord was first notified of this issue on 01/30/25 via text letting her know there was a foul smell coming out of the stove hood, but in reality it was the stove itself. Didnt know there was a rodent problem until March.A functional kitchen/Living room is a fundamental aspect of a habitable living space and is included in the lease agreement. Being unable to use the kitchen/ Living room has caused significant inconvenience and disruption to preparing meals and carrying out daily household tasks. There has been a need to frequently buy expensive takeout daily. Our new dishwasher was also destroyed by the rodents chewing up the cables and couple different areas.Therefore, a rent adjustment is believed to be fair for the period during which the kitchen was unusable. A partial refund of rent for the time period from 03/01/25 until we have a functional kitchen is requested. On 04/02/25 I opened up the stove and realized there was a large rodent nest underneath the stove burners full of dropping and urine with awful smell. After submitting this to the managing company Cadman Group is retaliating giving us a 3-day notice to Perform covenant or quit.
