Do NOT USE this company!!! They will confirm one thing then deny it and charge you over snd over for anything they can add on. ********. NO customer service. They have phone lines for when you first talk to them then as soon as you sign up for their service, only chat is available. They completely mislead you or avoid answering your questions. Tell you everything you want to hear.

I will never use this service again. One of my most valuable pieces of furniture, a Restoration Hardware bed valued at over $6,000, is missing from my delivery. To make matters worse, Restoration Hardware no longer manufactures this bed, which means I cannot provide the "required link" that Clutter demands in order to process reimbursement. This policy is unfair and leaves customers unprotected when dealing with discontinued or unique pieces.Instead of addressing the issue directly, every representative I've spoken with has been unresponsive and simply instructs me to "file a claim." The claims process itself feels designed to minimize the company's responsibility. If you cannot prove the current retail value of your missing or damaged items, the default reimbursement rate is only one dollar per pound a shockingly inadequate amount that would not even come close to covering the loss of high-value items like designer furniture, antiques, or custom pieces. On top of this, the delivery service was six hours late, and when my items finally arrived, several were visibly damaged. The entire experience has been stressful, costly, and disappointing.I am sharing my story here so others are aware of the risks before entrusting their belongings to this company. Customers deserve accountability, transparency, and real solutions not policies that make it nearly impossible to be made whole after a loss.Lastly, their marketing materials are misleading. The imagery all over their social media and website makes it appear as if you're receiving an individual storage unit. This is not the case. All items are placed in a single warehouse where your stuff is mixed up with everyone else. As items appear in the warehouse, your items are moved around constantly increasing the risk of damage.Thieves and scammers.

I started clutter at $108 a month and just received notice that now it is raising (AGAIN) so I would be paying over $200 a month for the same size space. Not to mention the price of getting my stuff out of storage. Initially when I signed up with clutter deliveries were included, which was such an amazing perk. The price for them to deliver it to me was absolutely absurd. I had to pay $216 just to go pick up my own stuff an hour away along with the price of the U-Haul truck rental. Would never recommend clutter to anyone.

THIS COMPANY HAS TERRIBLE REVIEWS ONLINE FOR A REASON!! DO NOT USE! THEY HOLD YOUR STUFF HOSTAGE TO GET YOU TO PAY MORE. Their system is bullcrap, and they expect you to make an appointment a MONTH OR MORE IN advance to get your OWN stuff back and then waitlist you for another month to make more money. **************** is outsourced to *****, and no one in a supervisory role can or will do anything to help. THEY NEED TO BE SHUT DOWN!!

Clutter was absolutely the worst experience. Their moving team lied about showing up, their customer service team was not helpful and is halfway around the world, and their customer service team does not respond to emails and my specific questions or requests. I would give them a zero if I could. Someone was at my home all day waiting for them to arrive, but they charged me $200 and refuse to refund it. I have no calls registered on my phone or any voicemails proving that their moving team arrived. I also have a driveway camera and have no video of their team arriving at any time on the scheduled date. There is a gate box with a doorbell that was never rung. There are actually no (legal or otherwise) parking spaces available on the road at the bottom of our driveway, so there is no way their team was parked at my home address. We are the only driveway on our entire street that is big enough for a *** truck to pull up and turnaround. There is no video of their team arriving in my driveway. No one ever knocked or range the doorbell (another camera) on the door either.

They no-showed for me for initial pick up and did not even bother to notify me till I called them myself after the window they gave me expired. ZERO compensation for it! They rescheduled me without even asking if the day works for me! Then I changed it few days in advance they had a nerve to change me $100 fee... TWICE!!! No warning before you click the reschedule button! ******** customer service. They just blow you off! Oh, and they charged another $100 to cancel! Beware that their dimensions only allow 4 feet height. So even if your staff would feet fine in let's say 10 x 10 storage, they will charge you for more! Absolute crooks! I hope someone sues them out of existence!

This is not just about poor service, it is about a complete lack of care, professionalism, and accountability. When my items were returned, many of them were damaged. The way they were packed and handled was careless at best, reckless at worst. I literally watched them toss boxes around with little care, and it was obvious that my belongings were not a priority. Even the movers themselves admitted they were under pressure, one was on the phone saying, We arent even done taking the stuff out of the truck, and another told his colleagues that someone from above called telling them they needed to move faster. How is ******* like that supposed to be safe for anyones possessions? From the very beginning, things went wrong. When they first came to collect my items, the movers stopped for lunch before even arriving to my home. That delay meant they could not finish the job in one day, forcing me to take another day off from work to wait for them to return. Then, when they finally did get everything loaded, they packed so inefficiently that I was charged for two trucks, even though the first truck was not even full.I later filed a claim for compensation for the damages. Clutter only compensated me for some of the items, claiming that other damages were not their fault because I had prepacked certain things, like my plates. The plates were intact and securely wrapped in moving paper when they picked them up, so there is no doubt in my mind the damage happened because of how they handled them. They simply refused to take responsibility. And to top it all off, they left behind a mess at my home, lunch trash, packing debris, and moving blankets. I had to clean it all up myself. This company feels like a scam. They waste your time, overcharge you, damage your property, and then find ways to avoid paying for it. I strongly recommend that no one trust them with their belongings.

Clutter cancelled my move day of in the middle of my move with no warning. They came in , looked around, took pictures, and left without word one. Tried to call their support line to get answers and they were no help - they couldnt get hold of the movers and would call me back. After hours with no call back, I called them back and they pretended they couldnt hear me. Then I tried calling back again 2x and requested a callback from their automated line and never received one. Horrible service.

3 days before they were supposed to pick up for a move they cancelled my appointment via text and rescheduled for 17 days out ( I have to be out of my apartment in 4 days). Thanks for nothing Clutter. No reason, just that they had an operational error and overbooked. Leaving me beyond scrambling.

Title:Clutter mishandled and destroyed high-value property, failed to resolve fairly Complaint:I contracted Clutter to move and store the contents of my 4-bedroom, ***** sq ft home. Despite clearly communicating the scale of the move, they sent two movers and a small truck, forcing me to hire a second company at my own expense. Upon delivery, multiple designer and custom items were returned damaged or destroyed, including matching furniture sets, lacquered pieces, glass dcor, and rugs.I filed a formal claim with repair estimates exceeding $12,000 and documented personal item losses totaling over $40,000. Clutter offered a total settlement of $6,000 ($5,000 for personal items, $1,000 for household damage) and rejected repair quotes without legitimate basis. They also failed to acknowledge their mover's lack of tools, refusal to reassemble furniture, and unprofessional behavior, including attempting to leave fragile items dumped on the first floor. When I escalated, Clutters ************************* failed to take responsibility, ignored critical facts, and repeatedly referenced internal protection policy limits that do not account for gross negligence or willful misconduct.I requested names of the executives who allegedly reviewed my casenone were provided. I was also promised a proper truck and crew by a representative named **. That commitment was not honored.I deserve:A fair and reasonable settlement based on submitted documentation Reimbursement for out-of-pocket moving and staging expenses Accountability for the mishandling of my property.I would not recommend Clutter to anyone. Their customer service practices and failure to resolve serious claims fairly warrant formal scrutiny.
