    I am filing a formal complaint against Courtesy Tow regarding the unlawful towing and ongoing withholding of my vehicle, along with their complete lack of communication and refusal to disclose its location.On August 3rd, 2025, my vehiclea 2010 ****** Altima was towed by Courtesy Tow from a secured residential parking space located at ******************************************************************. The parking spot was legally designated for my use, and there was no violation, no signage posted indicating restricted towing, and no reason for the vehicle to be removed.Since the tow occurred, Courtesy Tow has refused to return my vehicle, has not told me where my vehicle is located, and has not responded to repeated attempts to communicate with them. I have contacted them multiple times throughout the day and have received no explanation, no invoice, no documentation, and no cooperation.This situation is unacceptable and may constitute illegal possession and conversion of property under California law. Further violations include:Failure to notify me or obtain authorization from law enforcement as required by California Vehicle Code ******** written notice, photos, or towing authorization provided.Complete disregard for my rights and zero customer service transparency.This has caused me severe inconvenience, emotional distress, and potential financial harm, as I still do not know the condition or location of my car.I am requesting the following immediate resolution:1.Immediate disclosure of my vehicles location.2.Immediate release of my vehicle without any fees or conditions.3.A full investigation into Courtesy Tows towing and holding practices.4.Appropriate disciplinary and consumer protection actions taken against this company.I am prepared to escalate this matter to local authorities, file a police report, and pursue civil legal action if my car is not returned promptly and without cost.

    I purchased a car via online auctions Autura Marketplace which holds auctions for Courtesy Tow /Broadmoor Tow. Courtesy Tow/********* is the responsible party for advertising the car details for sale. Courtesy Tow/Broadmoor Tow sold me a vehicle which was misrepresented as "driving and running" condition. When I arrived at ******************************** the man who sold me the vehichle at the yard told me the car was being stored at another location. He told me I needed to pay for the car and sign the paperwork in order to retrieve the vehicle at another location. He assured me the car was in "driving and running" condition. I went to ************************* to pick up the vehichle after signing the paperwork. The car title was not provided. The car had no license plate on it. The car would not start. The worker there got the vehichle to start but the car is inoperable. The car shuts off over and over and is not in "running and driving" condition as presented for sale. The *** number to the vehichle is invalid at Department of Motor Vehichles. I was not provided with license plate or title. The vehichle is inoperable condition and I cannot register it due to the *** number being not valid with DMV. Courtesy Tow/Broadmoor Tow is unethical and practicing illegal business practices as the original owner also should've been contacted before sale. The VIn Number is invalid and Courtesy Tow/Broadmoor Tow did not follow legal procedures. I contacted Courtesy Tow/Broadmoor Tow they were uncooperative and will not refund my money.

    I was in ********* at a Gas Station I frequent @ Exxon- TRITON GAS ***************************************************************, I was parked in the parking spot in the bathroom when I left to go to the bathroom from my car, the cashier gave me the key and allowed me to use it, when I return to go give the key to the cashier, is when my car was left there legally parked with a valid parking placard for a disabled person , my parking placard is valid and my car was towed from a valid parking space, I was charged $545.00 for the tow and I had to pay $50 for the rise, but the tow was illegal, ( I am disabled and disabled and disabled people do not pay for the tow) The fees should have been waived- this is CA Law and they were not ) I want my money back and this is the second time I inform the BBB about this and yet - I still need the BBB help!
