    I am reaching out to lodge a formal complaint against Carpet Bros Cleaning, owned by *******************************, for significant carpet damage following a cleaning service and for the subsequent unprofessional conduct by ******************. This service took place at my home on February 17.The cleaning process was executed hastily, and immediately after, the carpet appeared darker, accentuating previously unnoticeable spots. When questioned, ****************** assured us that the carpets appearance would improve after drying. However, the situation worsened once the carpet was fully dry, displaying white and yellow circles and an overall faded appearance, indicating potential misuse of cleaning solutions on a 50% wool carpet. Despite my inquiries about the suitability of the cleaning agents used, ****************** insisted on their appropriateness without providing any substantial evidence of their compatibility with wool carpets.A second attempt to ameliorate the damage was made by ****************** on the following Monday, which did not result in any improvement. Upon requesting compensation for the damage in the form of a carpet replacement, ******************** demeanor turned unprofessional. He blatantly refused to provide any business license or insurance information, further complicating the situation.It is important to note that the carpet in question was installed approximately a year prior to this incident and was in impeccable condition. The service was solicited merely for maintenance purposes due to its ivory color. Regrettably, no receipt was issued for the cash payment made for this service, leaving us without a formal record of the transaction.Given these circumstances, we are seeking assistance from the BBB to address and rectify this situation. We are looking for an appropriate resolution, including compensation for the irreparable damage to our nearly new carpet, and to hold Carpet Bros Cleaning accountable for the lack of professionalism and care in their service.
