    I have been a long-standing client of Brokermint for over 3 years and have spent hundreds of thousands of dollars with their parent company, ********, over the past decade. Despite this long-term relationship, I am extremely disappointed in how Brokermint is handling my recent attempt to cancel service.After 3 years of consistent use, I reached out to cancel my subscription, only to be told I am still bound through March 2026 due to an automatic renewal clause. I was never notified of the upcoming renewal, nor did I receive any email confirmation or reminder giving me the opportunity to cancel before being locked into another term. Now, with only 5 months remaining in the current subscription year, Brokermint is unwilling to work with me on any reasonable early termination or goodwill resolution.This is not about the money its about the principle. As a long-time client of both Brokermint and Boomtown, I expected better treatment from the company. The unwillingness of upper management to show any flexibility or accountability is disappointing. It sends a clear message that regardless of your history or loyalty, you're just a contract in the system and the fine print will be enforced without *********** filing this complaint in hopes that Brokermints leadership will re-evaluate how they treat long-term clients and consider implementing better practices around auto-renewal transparency. I strongly advise any potential customer to be aware that these contracts auto-renew without notice, and your tenure or loyalty will not factor into how you're treated when it comes time to cancel.I respectfully request that Brokermint reconsider my cancellation request and release me from the remaining 5 months of the term as a gesture of good faith and professionalism.

    We appreciate the customer's long-standing relationship with both Brokermint and our parent company, ********, and we regret to hear of their disappointment.

    Brokermint agreements are structured with clear terms regarding renewal and cancellation. The customer signed a ******** agreement that includes an automatic renewal clause, which is standard and outlined in the original contract. While we understand the customer does not recall receiving a renewal reminder, the agreement does not obligate us to send additional notification prior to renewal, and our process has remained consistent.

    While we certainly value loyal customers, we must apply our policies consistently. Making exceptions based on tenure would ultimately require us to make similar accommodations for hundreds, if not thousands, of clients, which is not feasible for our business operations.

    The platform remains fully operational and available for use through the end of the current term, which runs through March 2026. We are happy to support the customers team in making the most of the remaining time on the contract.

    We understand and respect the customers feedback regarding auto-renewal transparency and will share their concerns internally as we continually evaluate how we can improve our customer experience.

    Brokermint will not release my contact data that I have been saving for 7 years with them. I need to switch software providers and they are withholding my data.

    I understand that the Brokermint team is working on sending a CSV file of our contacts so that we can close out our account but that has not happened yet so I will keep this complaint active until completed. Also, we have had to pay for the system for 4 months while not using it to resolve these issues. I hope that we can work out a refund for this period of time.

    We have reviewed this complaint and at this point we are not seeing a reason to offer a refund.

    The Brokermint UI does not provide an option to fully export contact information. The contact information is stored within the individual transactions in the platform and cannot be pulled this way by the Support team.

     On Nov 8th we reached out to ************** that we were working with Engineering to get the requested data.

    We also had notified ************** that he required access to DropBox or ****** Drive to back up Brokermint. We mentioned that ****** Drive was a solid choice and gave the fees associated with it. We were then accused of holding data hostage. Unfortunately, we have no control over ******'s fees, and weren't demanding to use that service, only that a cloud drive large enough to move the data to is required.

    With this being said, the platform was always fully functional, and there has been no request for cancellation.

    I was told that the only way to get the documents associated with each sales transaction was to sign up for API Nation which would connect ****** Drive to Brokermint. This was an additional $25/month. I have been paying for that connection for 6 months to get the data that I needed. It took over a month of agueing just to get to this point. After Brokermint's development team finally exported all of the documents I then realized none of the contact information for people related to the transactions were exported. This is why I had to file the complaint because they were refusing to provide an export of the contacts. Their suggestion was to copy and paste everyone contact from each transaction over the past 7 years which was not feasible. I am now requesting a refund of the fees charged over the time I was not using the software and only paying to not lose my data. Withholding someone's data for a fee, is in my opinion, the definition of ransomware.
