    Went to the coffee bean and tea leaf on the way to *********. I ordered a coffee (for $6.75) on May 16, 2024. I scanned my card twice because the clerk said the first scan did not work. However when I looked back I was charged twice. Which I disputed with my back. Upon looking further I was again charged on May 22, 2024 for another two $6.75. On June 19, 2024 I was again charged for $6.75. I have only been to that gas station/coffee bean and tea leaf once. I tried to contact the coffee bean and tea leaf to let them know about my issues and my card being charged a month later without me even being there and because I could not provide a receipt they said there was nothing they could do. One of my friends who used their debt card was also charged 3 separate times for one coffee as well, weeks after going to the gas station.

    Dear BBB, we received your letter regarding *******************************. I just called her and left her a voicemail. We are investigating the situation as it seems our system has encountered an error and it's stuck on a loop settleling transactions that were already processed. We are working with ******** Services, Worldpay, VeriFone and CBTL POS Support daily to address this matter. They're doing their own research and in the meantime we have stopped using the credit card reader to prevent this from escalating to more customers.
