I contacted Columbus Glass about a broken door window pane on August 6, 2021. They gave me a quote and demanded payment for one-half of the estimated cost to repair the window pane. (total cost of $586.38). $293.19 was paid to them on 8-25-21 via my Mastercard. I had contacted them even before and they sent two persons to come inspect the broken window and take measurements. They then said that they had to order the window pane and that it would take about 3 weeks to get it and then they would schedule for the repairs soon thereafter. I had to call them numerous times after waiting several weeks. They always said that they were too busy and could not schedule me. Finally, after numerous calls and complaints, they did come to make the repairs. However, they said that they had ordered the wrong size of window pane. They also said that the job order would have to be amended to a higher labor total. I have since called them several times, including talking to the owner who said his name was ****. They have ignored my complaints and will neither perform the job or give me my money back. This is fraud.

we spoke to ***********************, we did miss measure the glass/window, it was reordered, 10/19/21, it is to arrive at our location 11/4/21 if deliveries are on time, due to the circumtances with shipping/receiving our vendor orders have been delayed this has been happening for the last several months. the office will contact *********************** when the unit arrives and set up a timeto reinstall, we never claimed nor said we would charge any additional costs for additional labor that was never said to ************************, the owner of Columbus Glass & Screen did speak to him about the issue and made sure it was ordered, but unfortunately did not call him back to let him know when it is suppose to arrive, he apologizes to ************************ and the staff will contact him as soon as the unit is delivered.
