    On 02/03/23, I took my 2002 Ford F-250 truck to Austin's to schedule an alignment for $105. The alignment was done and then I asked him to run a diagnostic on my truck for the cold start I was experiencing. They took two days to perform the diagnostic and charged me $112.50. When I picked up my truck the young man from the front desk told me they couldn't figure out what the issue was but that he was pretty sure I needed new fuel injectors and it would cost me $1,600 for the replacement and install. I told him I would have to think about it because I am on a fixed budget. The next day my son-in-law came over and performed a diagnostic on my truck and it took him no more than 10 minutes to determine the electric fuel pump need to be replaced. I purchased an electric fuel pump from O'Reilly's Auto for $250. We replaced the pump and my truck started right up and there was no cold start since. If I would have taken the Austin's associates sureness, I would have been in the hole for $1,600 and would still have a cold start. A week prior to 03/31/23, I went back into Austins to order new rims and tires for the same truck. The size I order was for 35/12.5 20R and for 20" rims. Mr. Austin took my order for $3,100 and when the tires and rims arrived, the tires were the wrong size. After I gave him the measurements. He told me it was going to cost him $200 to return the tires. I told him I would pay half, which was $100 cash even though I had originally given him the correct size. I felt bad which I should have not been charged for this. The owner and two techs went out to look at my tires and did their own check before making the second order which now was for $3,500 and placed the order again. A week later the second order came in and now the rims were the wrong size. He then told me he was going to charge me a $300 stocking fee after he is the one who ordered the wrong size. I should have never been charged the $400 total. I truly feel like Mr. Austin took advantage of me.

    I purchased tires through Austin's Auto Advantage August of 2020. When searching my options, I was given a list of tires as well as their warranties. I chose tires that had a 60k mile warranty on them, and scheduled the appointment. After having the tires put on my vehicle, it was written on my paperwork that they had a 60k mile warranty. A little over a year of having the tires, the front passenger gets a bubble in the wall. I schedule an appointment to have it looked at and corrected (because they are still under warranty) and confirmed with one of the employees that they do indeed have the 60k mile warranty on them, and that they would be able to help me, and we scheduled the appointment for 2 days later. My husband takes my car to the appointment, and they inform him the tires do not have a warranty, and that we need to purchase a different tire because there is nothing they can do to help us with the tire we already have, they also said that the employee that finalized the invoice when the tires were put on did not charge us for the warranty, so they would not be honoring it, even though the employee wrote it on the paperwork that the tires had a warranty, and I spoke with the employee earlier this week and he confirmed that they have a warranty. Employees at Austin's let us know that we could try to contact the manufacturer to see if there was anything that they could do but the employees at Austin's would not be able to help us with our tire. Had I known that I would have gotten the runaround when trying to use the warranty that I paid for, or thought that I paid for that the employee "never charged me for", I would have taken my business elsewhere.This also is not the first time they have tried to take advantage of me, but with ******** being a small town and not having many other options, I decided to give them the benefit of the doubt and try to do business with them again.
