    I rented from these people and regret every minute. I moved into this property and immediately.There were numerous things wrong. There was no way to get out the back gate on the back patio because it was bolted locked. I was told there was a problem with the property behind my apartment. The bathtub was resurfaced but if you stood on it felt like you would fall through. Nothing was done. The washers and dryers in the laundry room and had been breaking down repeatedly. I asked peak if they could possibly put newer ones. They considered that a complaint.I started to apply for another property that they managed. I was working with someone in that department named . I had filled out paperwork and paid fees up to ****** dollars . I got no response.After that so I ended up going to the main office. ******* went to the back and got ****. He came out and told me they weren't going to rent to me again because of complaints by the on site manager. When I confronted the onsite manager he told me that they had thrown him under the bus. Those were his exact words.So I had to search for another place to live. I had planned to move into one of their other properties by the end of my lease with them. But because.They did that to **** was unable to I found a place and moved out.I had given them notice and they knew I was trying to find another place before they had told me they weren't going to rent to me again. But they decided to keep my deposit.And then they are saying that I owe them money which I don't. They owe me the fees that I paid for an apartment They were not going to rent to me and they owe me my gate fob return money that I returned to the on-site manager. They have sent me to collections which I is why I am posting this. I have never been to sent to collections . I believe that **** should have to live on that property and be subjected to everything the people that still live there are going through. If anybody has any suggestions please I welcome them.

    Always getting charged some extra fees for something. It's kinda irritating because ******* family been having issues with the guy that used to live in 206 and now supposedly he's the manager and he didn't like us from the beginning since we moved in he's always trying to start trouble with us always trying to get us in trouble for something I mean we had to get a restraining order against him because he's always harassing us telling us what we can and can't do and I brought it to Peak investments attention and they will do nothing about it all they come up with is what I'm doing wrong or what they could charge me for or what I need to pay I mean really I need to speak with someone that will listen to me and will take action in consideration for what me and my family are going through with this guy. Nobody will even talk to me all they want to do is send me letters of what I owe they keep charging me for supposedly parking in front of the mailbox they charge me twice $35 and now they sent me a letter for another $35 saying that me and my family were being loud at one or two in the morning my girls are asleep by then I work nights so I don't know what they're talking about and they won't even have the consideration to notify us talk to us and ask us if it was even us they're just assuming or believing what this guy says. I think the appropriate thing to do would be to find out if all these things are really happening but they don't bad business
