1 starIf I could give minus stars I would. There policy is terrible. If you can't make an event, you are just out the money. I use them through my government employer, and this is what I get. I am reporting this to my administration. This is a terrible way to do business.

1 starSeems to be nearly a scam, the sort of "insurance" that will not be honored under any possible pretense. If you complain they may offer to refund your initial insurance cost, which seems like a very sleazy business model: so long as you don't need the insurance you pay full price, otherwise you can have your premium back (but not the ticket cost).Protecht Inc

1 starIf i could give negative stars i would. Beware: this is a predatory 3rd party insurance, that deceives customers into thinking they are simply buying an assurance that hotel stays, at Hilton no less, can be refunded. They are slippery as eels and twice as ugly. You're very unlikely to get a refund from this company, they deliberatly make it nearly impossible. Avoid like the plague.Protecht Inc

I've sent documentation from my doctor showing why I had to cancel, and then I was asked to provide my bank account info to get my REFUND!!!! ****! 1 starI was searching online to book a hotel, when I called the number the customer service person mislead me as if I was speaking with Embassy Suites ******************. I booked a prepaid nonrefundable room with refund protection (refund protection turned out to be a fraud and scam). The event in **** was canceled due to safety concerns, weather and threat of flooding in the area. We all know how devasting weather emergencies can be in ***********, *********. All of the local agencies stated there would be flooding in the hotel area and event area. Alerts and notifications were sent out via news and other weather emergency alert systems. All documentation was submitted as requested by the administers of booking refund program company ************************** , . Protecht,Inc continues to deny my request for a refund and not honor the refund protection plan. When seeking a refund, I realized the company also charged me $300.00 more than the actual room would have cost to book. I was scammed and mistreated in an unprofessional manner by the hotel booking company Hotel ************ and administers of booking refund program company ****************************Protecht Inc

1 starFanshield stated they could not refund my tickets to schlitterbahn water park due to the fact I hadn't actually gone on my trip yet. The trip was scheduled the following week and during the time I requested cancelation there was severe flooding in that area that had caused many people to go missing or pass away. Who in their right mind would sit there and say they are going to take their family and still go on vacation to an area that is currently flooding. These people have no common sense or sympathy for the tragic events that were taking place in that area. All they care about is making their money!Protecht Inc

1 starThis is a total scam. I had an acquisition take place 1 month prior to me purchasing the tickets. The acquisition work was assigned to me just a day before the event. I had to cancel all my travel plans including the event. They said the acquisition was in the past so "no refund". They need to learn about acquisitions and how it works. Total scam. 1 starThis company is a scam and falsely advertises. I purchased insurance for my tickets upon believing they would give "100% refund" due to "bad weather". Only when I applied for the refund, the ridiculous options led to providing documentation. When I provided the proof from the ************* they said my refund was voided due to the event closing/cancelling. Mind you they closed due to "bad weather", closed for our safety. Which they said when advertising, they would cover for bad weather. No where on the payment site does it warn you no refunds for cancelation or event closing. Which again events will do for bad weather, severe weather for safety reasons. You don't discover this loop hole until you apply for the refund. 1 starI'd leave zero stars if I could.********* uses this company to protect purchases. It is nothing but a scam. It doesn't cover the cost of the ticket and it covers virtually nothing. BUT, you don't know that until after you purchase the protection. I tried several times to get a refund to no avail.
