I personally paid for three courses with Pragmatic Institute. However, my employer mistakenly issued a check to the company. To resolve this, I worked with Pragmatics finance department, and we agreed that they would cash the check and send me the payment instead. As a telecommuter, I provided my home work address. After our agreement, they informed me they could not proceed with the payment due to my address. I then provided the **** Box that **************** telecommuters typically use for mail. Despite multiple follow-ups, Pragmatic has not responded or honored the initial agreement.

Pragmatic Institute ****************** email from 5/16 said I had to take one class to get my Product Master certification. Based on that I obtained approval from my workplace to proceed with the class. Upon completion of the class when I tried to get the Certification,. the ****************** said that it was misinformation and that I have to take 3 additional courses to obtain my certification. This seems like a malpractice and a way to generate forced revenue for the Institute. The ****************** did not attempt to clear the misinformation, until I reached out 15 days later, after completing the mentioned course. The classes are online and one day long or two half days long and cost $1,405 each. It took a lot of coaxing to get my company to pay for the class. I have been trying to get my certification since 2021 when I had taken two additional classes towards my ****************** certification. There is no way that my company will shell out another $4,215 ($4,405*3) besides giving me the time off needed to take the courses. I am open to taking the courses and also taking them on my own time, but paying $4,215 is a significant amount for my organization, let alone me personally. The Institute is willing to give $200 off per class which is equivalent to what used to be an alumni discount and is too small an amount to pay for the misinformation based on which I got approval from my company. Hence requesting BBB to step in as I think it's only fair to ask the Institute to offer the 3 courses to me at no cost and I am willing to take them on my own personal time off from my workplace. Attached is the exchange with the Institute.

There was a miscommunication, and this has been resolved. I spoke with the complainant and she is very happy with the outcome.
