I visited this clinic on ********* At the time, I needed a negative covid test in order to return to work. I am in the medical field and know my benefits, however they requested I pay a copay of $100.00. Again, I knew this was not accurate, however I needed the test completed. After my insurance processed the claim, and I did not have any patient responsibility due for the claim, I reached out to the billing department to process my refund. I have lost count of the times I called, but finally spoke to the manager, Joanie at XXX-XXX-XXXX X ***** She stated she processed my refund on ****** to give it 7-10 business days. At this time, I confirmed she had my correct mailing address. I gave it 30 days and called back. She confirmed that she processed my refund however she could not see what the status of it was and could only send an email to the refund department. I requested she call me back and provide an explanation when she got an answer from her email. No call back, so I again called her and left her a VM that if she could not provide with information I would find someone at corporate to assist. No call, so I emailed the corporate office , Mark ****** and Dylan ***** on ********** requesting they assist in this matter. No response. I clearly have proof with my explanation of benefits from my insurance as well as the receipt from the clinic that I am due back this $100.00. At this point, it is not even about the money as much as the terrible customer service. If they refuse to refund my money, how many others are having this same issue. Or worse, do not even realize that they are due a refund so Stop Watch Urgent Care just keeps it.
