      Deal fell apart before a contract was signed, but they have the title to my vehicle I was going to use as a trade-in. They kept the title and won’t send it back. I own the vehicle and the title, they have no right to keep it.

      The service department has had my car for 1 month. I have a little over 99 thousand miles on it. It still should be covered under the power train warranty and I also purchased an additional warranty when I bought the car new in 2017. The check engine light was on it was skipping and shaking. The front passenger floor board also was wet a few days before my appointment to get it checked which took 2 1/2 weeks to get. The air conditioner is covered under warranty yet they wanted over 250 dollars to run diagnostic testing to see what the problem was before they fixed it. Then a week later that was supposedly fixed so they said the engine light was from the wires and casing? Around the motor and it was not covered under warranty so 3900 dollars later the engine light was still on so over a week later they said it needed a new motor and with the warranty it was covered. Then several days later they needed maintenance records to submit the claim the warranty department. After those were given they called and said kia then requested a video of a part of the motor and it would cost yet again two hundred and something dollars if they approved replacing the motor I would not be responsible for it and if they didn't I would have to pay it. There is a recall on the motor as well which I was never told by anyone by the way. Until kia denied paying for the repairs and I called the that we paid extra for to verify what kia told me. They did not have a claim filed on the car . So when I ask kia about it they had not even tried the 2nd warranty company yet but would reach out to them if I would like them to. , so now week 4 they are going to file the claim with this company. So with a recall, and two warranties and a month later I am basically still waiting. They have given misleading information or withheld information and have charged me over 4000 dollars and I did not get offered a car to drive even after asking several times about one. my lawyer will take it from now on.
