      This is my correspondence with Park Seed that never answered my actual quastions.. My Email: "I am trying to change my email preferences. There is nothing on your web page that shows "email preferences" on the entering pages and the "Preference Center" option had **NO** content. What's going on? I am sick and tired of getting a high number of multiple emails from Park Seed daily. How do I change my email preferences? I have unsubscribed, but if you want me back to advertise to, tell me how I can set my email preferences. Once a week would be good. Five times a day is ridiculous." Paola at Park Seed Reply: "Hello Caryl, Please click at the bottom of the Newsletter to unsubscribe. Kind regards," My Reply: "My issue was not solved. I do not want to unsubscribe to all emails--I know how to do that. I want to be able to choose my email preferences, but the "Preference Center" on you website has no content when it is opened (with ****** ****** *******). 1) How can I choose my email preferences??? 2) Is there a glitch on your website that needs attention?" Paola at Park Seed Reply: "Dear Caryl, Thank you for contacting us at Customer Support! We apologize for the website error. Please try to perform your purchase using a different browser or device. We appreciate your business! If you have any further concerns, please respond to this same email thread!" I tried to access Park Seed through ME instead of ******. ****** blocked Park Seed site when logging in to Park.Seed with "Risky domain blocked We have blocked a potentially risky domain (****************) which has been embedded into this page and may have been used in past credit card information re-route attacks." This was not encouraging. My Reply: "Do you speak English???? I am NOT trying to make a purchase. I want to change my Park Seed advertising email preferences. Would appreciate a link to the proper page to do so." Don't plan to buy from Park Seed again. They used to be first class.

      Thank you for your email and feedback. We apologize for the frustrations you experienced while trying to update your preferences. We have shared your experience with our marketing team, and they are working on adding the ability to receive a weekly or monthly email back as an option. It appears at some point the Set Preferences was removed – and we are actively working on adding it back. We want all our customers to receive the amount of information they are comfortable with and can notify us with preferences. To address your concern about the customer service agent misunderstanding your response asking if there was an error with the preferences, we will work with him to ensure he is fully reading the email string before responding. This is the first we have heard that Norton was blocking the Park Seed site, so our website team is looking into the error. Again, thank you for letting us know about your situation and frustration. We appreciate you taking your time to share your experience with us.

      Beware! This business is so shady. My ordeal started when a friend gave me a gift certificate as a Christmas gift. It really was a thoughtful gift. He never purchased from ******* * ******* and didn't realize his gift would turn out to be aggravation and shady business practices. In April I purchased a rose, and the order said it was ship in 2-5 business days. Ten days went by, and I heard nothing about shipping. Finally, I called them to find out what is going on. They told me it is now out of stock. Then they kept telling me it would ship on a new date each time I called after it never shipped each time. If it weren't a gift certificate, I would have just cancelled and walked away form this business giving me the run around. After more than a month went by, I saw the rose was again listed in-stock and on sale on their website. I contacted them again and they said they will ship it! I asked if they will honor the sale price, and they flat-out refused because it was full-price when I purchased it more than a month prior. It didn't matter to them that when I purchased it more than a month ago, that purchase was based on them claiming it was in stock and will ship at the time of that purchase. They simply could not care less. I was just happy it will finally ship, and at that point just wanted the rose so I never have to do business with these people again. Well, when it finally arrived it was so scrawny and yellow. It wasn't worth the sale price, but the insult to the injury was that they had the nerve to charge $50 full price for this thing. Terrible. Will never do business with these people again. I posted about this on their ******** page, and their reaction was to simply block me from their page. That's the kind of shady business this is. Won't stop me from letting people know that this business is awful, so others will not face the aggravation and sham business practices I endured. Buyers beware!

      We reached out to Jackson and Perkins about two roses that did not bloom and are not thriving. We were told that the warranty has expired because we ordered in February . Order #WEBJP5558564 Thank you for contacting us! "We sincerely apologize for the disappointment you've experienced with the failure of your roses. According to our records, your guarantee period has already elapsed. Your order was shipped on 2/16/2024, and unfortunately, it is no longer within the coverage period. Regrettably, we are unable to make adjustments for plant failure outside of the guarantee period. Please accept our sincere apology for any inconvenience this may cause. If there are any further inquiries or assistance you require, please do not hesitate to reach out to us." We ordered the roses in February but received in March. We bough some cheap roses from Tractor Supply and those look amazing. Should have just purchased locally.

      Purchased a particular variety of strawberry plants in December 2023 with April 2024 ship date. Received an email in April that the “item was no longer available” and they wouldn’t charge me for it (looks like I already paid shipping and tax as it was part of a larger order). I responded and asked if they could send a substitute. They responded that they “could not offer any substitutes”. On their website the variety I’d ordered was the only one now listed as out of stock. Were all their other varieties also out of stock? Why did it take them over 3 months to inform me they were unable to fill the order? They may need to be seeking a different manager for their live plant division.

      Not the quality ******* * ******* used to be back in the 1960's to 1980's. The bareroot rose bushes are skimpy with roots and branches. I bought 4 bareroot bushes this year and 3 died. Better off buying rose bushes at **** ***** or ****** . Very poor quality at * * *. I am so dissappointed!

      Do your research and order from a more reputable garden company. Their site says that if you aren't satisfied with a purchase, they will refund it. However, for myself and many others that has not been the case. I ordered a rose bush from them that would not bloom (all my other roses were healthy and thriving). I wrote requesting a refund or replacement. They refused to do either (despite their site saying they would do so) and instead gave me advice for how to care for the rose through the winter & early spring to see good blooms in the following summer. I followed this advice and the plant is still not performing. I have cheap roses from ****** that perform better than these. After spending a year following their care directions, I wrote back to tell them their instructions failed and that I wanted my money back or a replacement. They said no because it had been too long since I purchased the item. The only reason I had the rose bush that long was because I had followed their instructions to a T. I believe the company gave me those instructions so that the clock would run out on my refund availability. I have written to them since their 2nd refusal, and to date, no one from customer service has replied.

      In two orders I ordered nine ice plants. Seven of the nine looked like they had been rolled over by a truck and mailed anyway with mashed green leaves and mashed leaves like mashed potato on the brown stems. I was reimbursed entirely for the first order of six and because the other two looked like the stems might revive I was not reimbursed. Two and a half weeks later they are totally dead too. I appreciate the good faith of ******* and Jackson P****** but am really done with buying any plants mail order ever again from anyone. I suspect that this is a problem of the growers that work with Wayside and have come to the conclusion that healthy plants need to be chosen by the consumer in person to insure quality control.

      This company should have way more than one star. Very good company. Go to their website and read the reviews there. There are many people who have bought from Park Seed year after year and have always been satisfied. I am another one of those people. Customer Service is strong, delivery is one-time, and product is as advertised. If you buy from this company, come back and give them a review. It's not that they need more than one star as much as they earn five starts daily.

      Park Seed did not provide a detailed invoice of my mort recent purchase which arrived damaged, and in addition on their website, my order number does not have that information either.
