Run like you’re on fire as fast as you can the opposite direction. If you don’t believe my review feel free to read the countless others below regarding SK’s incompetence when it comes to communication, organization, and overall lack of commitment to putting out quality work. We had our 1 year warranty walkthrough with their warranty manager Eddie who essentially told me “blue tape it” to everything I pointed out, so that’s what we did. His arrogance was apparent the second he walked in my home, never mind the warning I had received from other neighbors about him. Painters came out last Friday to start the warranty work, a month after the walkthrough itself, and when I tried to reschedule them to finish the work Monday I never heard back from Eddie’s manager, Henry, who I was in contact with last week in Eddie’s absence. Eddie followed up Monday letting me know our painting demands were unrealistic, per their paint vendor, so he needed to reevaluate our home and he’d be there at 2pm. He didn’t even have the guts to come and inspect it himself but sent the on-site construction manager for our neighborhood, who validated every single piece of tape to my wife and I. After 2 unreturned texts to Eddie and nearly 20 hours of being ghosted I called the warranty office to talk to someone and understand when painters would be coming out to finish the work given that our house is a mess, we have cleaners scheduled for Thursday, and family coming into town Friday and because our house should be prioritized given none of this was our fault. I was ghosted again by Eddie’s manager, Henry, so I am currently sitting in the SK office waiting for an owner or someone who actually cares about doing the right thing by the unfortunate homeowners that buy a house from SK Builders. If I could do it all over again I would have never even looked at a SK home and we will NEVER purchase from SK in the future.
