      They will make arrangements with you when they repossess your vehicle and it will be nothing but a sham to get you to get your vehicle back. Then they will go back on their word and screw you over by your credit, allow the 3rd party towing company to steal your stuff from your vehicle. You will be docked 40+ points due to this! They will also tow your vehicle 4 days ahead of the legal timeframe to pick up your vehicle. We just found out that in Texas they have to wait 90 days before they can repossess it. They can came and picked it up on the 86th day. Had I known at the time I would've sued them. I wonder if I can still. They are WORSE than Drive Time and that is sad. I didn’t think there was one company that would’ve been worse than going through DT but ACA is by far more horrid.

      I have paid $20,000 for a $15,995 car and still owe over $5,000. How is this even possible? American credit acceptance offers no answers, no help, no explanation. Just say the same thing over and over.

      I purchased a vehicle from a dealership in my state. I was put in a first time buyer since I haven't had an auto loan for quite a while. American credit acceptance was the finance company. I made the first initial payment before the due date. A couple days later I get a check back from a construction company for the amount of my payment. I send it back to them. A couple of weeks ago I get a letter from them stating I owe them $2,200.00 by the 5th of the month or they will reposes the vehicle. I went to another dealership and they checked my credit and American credit acceptance has not been reporting at all. I was making partial payments to them so I could pay all of my other bills. They said that was not good enough and wanted full payments going forward. It seems to me that they are trying to scam me out of money

      I have had a car for almost 3 years with payments being made regularly via online banking. Just received a letter that I had late charges for the past 7 months totaling $5000+. No notification or communication regarding this matter until they are ready to repossess the car. The reviews are so sad and degrading to honest working people, it is clear their goal is all about money, cheating and lying to people. I read they were sued in DC for being crooks. I live in Illinois and think every state where they are located needs to file a Class Action Suit and close them down. Giving the car back and rebuilding my credit again after filing a chapter 7 is worth getting from under these demons. Is there anyone out there listening to these stories sincerely?

      8/31/2024 On 7/14/2024 I had purchased a 2021 *** **** from a local dealership ACA Financed it the truck starting having some issues I had been arguing back and forth with the dealer ACA had called me on week 2 I explained And they stood by me and I got all my deposit / down back from the dealer and my first payment back as well Im purchasing another Truck from another dealer this time ****** and so far it’s been great and I hope ACA picks up this one because I’ll no I’m in good hands and my credits not the best but they worked with me on this one and with out there help not sure were it would of went and my score went up during and after so Thank you ACA much appreciated From ***** **

      I purchased a 2021 *** **** on July 14, 2024 from a local car lot here in Southern California and got financed by American Credit lets say The truck ended up having some Issues I called American Credit and let them know and they staid in contact with me till the day I returned it on August 15th, 2024 I not only got all my down payment I also got back my 1st truck payment I had made if it wasn’t for all there help I’m not sure how it would of went I’m now as of today purchasing another truck thru *** *** there great and I pray American Credit Picks it up because with America Credit and ****** on my team i no I’m good and I no my credit is not so good and they worked it out for me on this one. so Thank you American Credit From Chino Ca ??

      Hello to the person reading this. I want to give a warning hopefully you read the reviews before you do business with this company. I have been with this company for two years and I wish I would of read reviews on them. I pay a high interest rate 25%, yes my score was low so that's why I thought they was helping me. Now I'm trying to refinance and no other company is willing to refinance bc the high interest and because I'm over paying for the vehicle it's self. ****** and this company is in kahoots together over pricing vehicles and charging ridiculous interest rates. They don't offer refinance or any assistance to help if you having financial hardship. Worse company. I can't wait until my contract is over. Never again.

      I have had a motorcycle loan for over 2 1/2 years so far, paid every month with no issues...at a very high interest rate. I owe $11,000 less than what the bike is worth. My issue is that this company will not take payments on the principal of the loan, they will not refinance, I even asked for a 1 month deferment to help get my fianances straight, I was told no. Completely unhelpful; I am currently looking into refinancing with another company just to get the loan out of this company's hands, as soon as possible. Never have dealt with a lender that wouldn't work with an existing client at all. I would never recommend doing business with this company; operates more like a loan shark.

      No one spoke to me to let me know that my loan had changed hands to them. They claim they called but never left a voicemail or sent an email. I finally figured it out after almost 60 days and my car being basically in repo status. Not a single person wanted to help me get back on track. They wouldn’t defer a payment or two and wouldn’t refinance to fix the past due balance. Pretty shady company. I would not have chosen them as my loan provider.

      All my payment are updated yes I have been late and I paid late fee's they are saying that I have 2 payments that have been reversed for July and August which is a lie I have spoken to 2 different mangers that I called the bank for both of them on 3way and the bank has told them both times that the payments were never sent back they asked the bank if the could send a bank statement showing were the payments were never sent bank I sent the statement for July but I can't send the statement for August because it's still the month of August but I did screenshot all my in and out transactions from the month of August form my mobile app each manger told me they were opening a investigation on my account now I just received a letter in the mail stating that if I don't make these payments again by August 22 they will be repoing my car what kind of scam is this the bank has clearly told them yes she made the payments and no you never sent the money back to the bank and it never went back in her account now you tell me wait another 2 to 3 business days for the investigation to see what you come up with but you have my money and the 3rd business day will be the 21st of August iam not getting any were with these managers this has to be the most bogus company ever to treat your paying customers in such manner I can provide prove of all my payments you send me conformation email for ever payment but you can't provide me with any information about these false reverse payments I don't have money to give to a company twice for the same payments Iam looking into legal actions because this is ludicrous how yall take people money and do what you want to do with it and expect them just to pay you again I have all my bank statements showing were I paid but not one statement shows a reverse payment I wish I could give you a negative 0 star I wouldn't refer a dead dog to this company
