Deceptive Practices and Poor Customer Service I recently had an extremely frustrating experience with LVNV Collections. Their online system allowed me to set up a settlement payment plan for my account, and I even received a confirmation email verifying the arrangement. However, when I attempted to make the payments, they failed. When I called customer service, I was informed that I should never have been able to set up the payment plan in the first place, and the confirmation email I received was incorrect. Instead of honoring the arrangement, the agent asked if I wanted to set up a different payment plan. This feels highly deceitful and raises serious concerns about how LVNV operates. It is unacceptable to mislead customers and then attempt to push them into alternative arrangements. I expected better transparency and professionalism, and this experience has completely eroded my trust in the company.Resurgent Capital Services LP Response

We were/are a victim of ID fraud and received a debt collection from this company. We provided a ******* ***** ********** report, local police report, an affidavit [sealed by a notary], letters from other utility companies [took place in Texas, we live in NJ] and "after review" they not only were still after us but put the collection via credit report companies, i.e. ********. They could care less what you provide. I reached out to the energy company which has been more communicative and has accepted the same information while asking for proof of ID and address. Resurgent Capital could care less if you're a victim of ID Fraud.Resurgent Capital Services LP Response
