New furnace installed under advice of Rick B****** to resolve uneven heating and cooling in the home. Upstairs bedrooms and family room addition are persistently hot in the summer and cold in the winter. Mr B****** said the new furnace and Air conditioner would resolve these issues. I paid Mr B****** $12,600. Despite several visits I do not have any air conditioning and uneven heat. I feel like my money has been wasted. I am a senior citizen with health issues which could be exasperated by lack of air conditioner. The furnace is too new for all these problems. I just want a cool home in the summer and warm home in the winter. Thank you

I had one of their technicians come to my home and replace an inducer. He told me the part was $992.94. He gave a senior citizen discount of 10%. I believed their technician mistakenly overcharged me for the part. I looked up the retail cost of the same part and it was a third of the price I was quoted. I know it was the weekend and the young lady I spoke to told me the difference would be a $40 to $50 service charge. It was 17 degrees outside so I was willing to pay the additional service charge. I tried to resolve the problem for over a week. They did not respond to my emails. The billing department said the Inducer cost included installation. I told her the bill did not indicate any separate labor cost, only the cost of the part. The exact part they installed had a retail cost $319.92 at *** ***** ************. You can imagine how little they paid for it. Clearly their installation charge was @$700 dollars for a 10 minute job. It took their technician more time to write the invoice than installing the inducer. The job"s total cost $1071.16 . I believe this was a clear example of Price gouging. It is not a reasonable cost to charge a customer around $700 dollars for installation, which was not itemized as an installation charge, for 10 minutes of work. I am always willing to pay any reasonable price for service but this is an example of taking advantage of a bad situation.
