I got in contact with safe home care seeking a position, when I started all of this I was supposedly hired, signed all of the documents and was told I needed to pick up my badge in the next coming days and I would get a schedule. 4 days later after hearing nothing I give them a call, was told I had to wait for ******* in scheduling to get back on Thursday. I waited and on Thursday gave them a call as it became obvious they were not going to be calling me. I called and when ******* answered she began to explain to me that I in fact was not hired that their on site administrator informed me incorrectly and that she would contact me if they decided to move forward with the hiring process. So I spent a week thinking I had a job setup that I never had do to poor management and communication. I proceeded to leave a review of the experience I had 4-5 days later as I seen it as very unprofessional and still had heard nothing from them. The same day I left the review I got a call from them offering me the position, coincidence maybe. I accepted the position and went in got my direct deposit setup and went through what they called orientation. Was told I would get a call in a day or two on when I could meet with the care coordinator and start working. Its now been 3 weeks since the beginning of this process and not 1 time have I received a call from them with an update, everyone I want information on whats going on I have to contact them and its the same thing every time. I will call you back with more info and I never receive a call back. This company is shady and very very unprofessional. I simply want an apology from the company and this to all be on record as no one should have to go through the process that I have had to endure.

I am sorry about your bad experience as an applicant and a new hire.  Safe HomeCare is in the middle of changing over to a computerized recruiting and hiring process to improve the flow. The potential assignment that was discussed has not moved forward.  You were presented as a recommended aide for the assignment.  Our other assignments are based on census, open shifts, location, and specific skills required.  At this time, there are not many open shifts except for emergency fill ins.  We would be glad to reach out when another opportunity opens up.
