    ON 02/21/22 AN INCIDENT OCCURED WHERE (OOROO AUTO) STATED MY 2010 MINI COOPER CLUBMAN S (PURCHASED WITH 35K MILES CURRENTLY 39K MILES) CV AXLE FELL OUT AND DAMAGED TRANSMISSION. THE COMPANY GAVE ME THE ESTIMATE OF REPAIRS TO BE ROUGHLY $10,500 DOLLARS. THE VEHICLE WAS PURCHASED ON 12/16/21 FOR $13,998 {FINANCED}. WHEN PURCHASING THE VEHICLE I WAS TOLD THAT THE CAR HAD NO PROBLEMS WITH NO WORRIES AND WAS A GOOD DEAL AND ONLY HAD THE AFTERMARKET RADIO TOOKEN OUT. THE CARFAX SHOWED NO MAJOR DAMAGES WHEN PURCHASING. RIGHT AFTER THE INCIDENT I CALLED JAY (DEALER) HE MENTIONED TO BUY A USED TRANSMISSION WITH HIGH MILEAGE WHICH I WAS NOT SAFE ABOUT PURCHASING EVEN WITH THE PRICE. AFTER THE PHONE CALL (JAY) LEFT A VOICEMAIL THAT ADVISED TO CONTACT MY INSURANCE COMPANY AND WAS TOLD TO FILE A CLAIM THAT THE RAILROAD TRACKS NEAR THE INCIDENT CAUSED THE CV AXLE TO FALL OUT AND DAMAGE THE TRANSMISSION. WHEN TALKING WITH THE MECHANICS AT OOROO ***** AND **** ASKED IF SOMEONE MAY HAVE BEEN UNDER THE CAR RECENTLY BECAUSE THE BOLTS WERE LOOSE. WHEN DRIVING AND MY GIRLFRIEND AND I NEVER FELT ANYTHING UNTIL THE INCIDENT OCCURRED. THE DEALER WITHHELD INFORMATION ABOUT THE CAR BEING AUCTIONED FOR $2,800 WHEN PURCHASING THE CAR WOULD HAVE CHANGED THE IMPACT OF MY DECISION WHEN PURCHASING. THIS INFORMATION WAS NOT DISCLOSED TO ME NOR ON THE CARFAX HISTORY AND WAS FOUND AFTER THE INCIDENT OCCURRED THROUGH A THIRD PARTY VEHICLE HISTORY SITE WHEN TRYING TO GIVE MY CLAIMS ADJUSTER INFORMATION ON THE INCIDENT. I WAS DENIED A TOTAL LOSS AND NOW HAVE A NON-DRIVABLE VEHICLE. I AM REQUESTING TO EITHER (A.) RETURN THE CAR TO THE DEALER AND END THE CONTRACT WITH THE CREDITOR BY JAY AUTO SALES PAYING THEM. (B.) REPLACE VEHICLES WITH THE SAME VALUE THAT IS NOT AUCTIONED. OR IN BAD CONDITION THAT WAS NOT GIVEN (C) PAY FOR (NEW) TRANSMISSION TO BE PUT IN AND THE REPAIRS TAKEN PLACE TO MAKE SURE VEHICLE IS SAFE ON THE ROAD

    Here is my story (tried to be brief)....My wife and I long-life fans of ****** for obvious reliability. Specifically bought a total of three just from Precision. One of these 3 were brand new off the truck. Fast forward 12 years and 217k miles later we are ready to trade in for another *************** for our daughter. The 12yo Highlander has a serious computer issue that we're not willing to fix and Precision tells us "not to offend you, but we can only offer you $100 as a trade in." That was my last straw with them as I've had other issues with the dealership. It's like the bigger the dealership the less they care!Fast forward a couple weeks to Jays Auto Sale where off the back they offer us $1k for the trade in. And BTW second car from them as the first was a Avalon for my mom. They took care of her even after the purchase.
