My husband; ******************* went in for stem cell treatment on February 27, 2024. He is 78 yrs old. We wanted what we thought was the best and heard that ************* at Bluetail Medical group in ************, Mo was. They told him that he had an 80% chance of success. It was a lot of money but we felt very positive and went with Bluetail. We paid $8800.00. We waited 4 months as suggested and did not feel any difference. Next we went in for a prp treatment on June 26. 2024. This was supposed to act like a fertilizer to the stem cell shot. He paid another *******. Its been over 2 months and still no difference. I have called them frustrated about my husbands pain. This hasnt been easy for me either. The people *** answered for bluetail all the sudden wasnt as nice as they were before they collected our money. I wasnt called back after leaving 2 messages. I was told by another doctor *** has given stem cell shots longer than *************; that stem cell therapy shouldnt be given for arthritis in the back. My husband has spinal stenosis and a lot of arthritis. A chiropractor that my husband has been seeing for a very long time said the same. We ****** it and it does say it can help a bit; but then we found out that at his age of 78, he shouldnt have used his own stem cells. Hes too old. We were never told that! We were never told that the stem cell therapy wouldnt help with arthritis as much . We feel like weve been lied to especially when they went on and on about an 80% success rate. We lost approximately $11,000.00 and got nothing for it! They should return our money for the lies they told. I dont recommend bluetail med group in ************ and definitely not ********************* to ***m isnt a personable doctor. After we got the stem cell shot, he didnt even come back in the room to talk with us!
