Their credit service through ************** is a very discrimination service. We have been paying on three dogs and supplies over the past years since 2013. Never been late and paid our balance down. We were recently reduced on our credit limit for no reason. I recommend that you never use this place of business who uses a bank that punishes a consumer that pays their bills.Review from Amanda B

I wouldn't patronize this place. I certainly won't again. I've heard they use puppy mills. I don't know how true that is but I do know right now that they have a Costa Rican Zebra Knee tarantula that is NOT being cared for properly. I told one of the people that works there what that spider needs and I got a rude remark back. So I went home and called to speak to a manager a couple of days later. The manager didn't seem to care anymore than the employee did. I'm assuming because it's a spider and not a cuddly puppy that they think he doesn't deserve to be comfortable but nobody would listen to me or even acted like they cared. This place is in it for the money and doesn't seem to care about the well being of their animals. I would have been a regular customer in there as I need feeders every week but now I think I'll drive the extra miles and go to ****'s in Wentzville. They care about their animals there.Review from Julia K

Petland purchases their puppy's from unregulated puppy ***** and resells them for a high price. If you buy a dog here, expect to pay full price for a sick dog. They do not care for the dogs or send them for veterinary services while they are waiting to be sold. Most likely, you'll end up with a dog that has parvo, kennel cough, or an unexpected death once purchased. The Lake Saint Louis location should be shut down. Those poor dogs....Review from Inna B

Never do business with pet land!!!! Its like a h*** for a poor animals, especially puppies! They keep the puppies in small cages, big breed puppies who needs space with other puppies, the result of this is usually muscle atrophy in some breeds, puppies cost a lot of money bc they pay land selling their package with the puppy which cost aroun 3000$ but honestly no body needs that horrible package they want you to buy, you have to buy the package or you cant buy the puppy if you dont want that package. Some puppies growing there without normal activities, families or love, Im watching them for past five months, the same puppies still there for 5 months, the price went down a month ago from 9000$ to 6900$ now it went back up, nobody wants to buy a puppy 6 months old for 9000$. I have a question for the owner of that criminal place because I believe this is an ANIMAL ABUSE, what is going to happen to all the dogs who not going to be sold???? I have no words, its ridiculous, when its going to be stoped!!!!! I cry for these poor puppies!!! Ill complain everywhere I can, somebody needs to pay attention on that business, investigation needed asap!!!!!! IT NEEDS TO BE STOPED!Review from Sean C.

DO NOT PURCHASE A DOG FROM HERE! I purchased my Boston Terrier from Petland Saint Louis and have had nothing but problems within the time Ive had her. Not only was she outrageously expensive (over $5,000) but she has had nothing but constant health problems. I went in looking for a small dog that would be low maintenance and low energy and was talked into my purchase which was the complete opposite of what I was looking for. I have had my dog for less than 1 year now and have already spent over $2,000 on vet bills. She is actually at the vet now for a continual skin infection she has had since I brought her home. She also had a horrible case of kennel cough shortly after coming home as well. I love my dog, but she is costing me a fortune. The insurance they talk you into is horrible as well, along with the benefits that are included in the purchase. Another scam that will cost you a fortune. This entire process was such a scam and a waste of money. Buyers beware! You can find more healthy options elsewhere. I am sending this as a warning! Do your research before buying from here unless you want to be scammed out of thousands of dollars.
