my mom scheduled an appointment for a free estimate for a garage door. after the salesman had met with her, he informed her the visit was $89. Not knowing any better, she wrote a check for the $89. When i learned of this I immediately contacted the company to question this charge and get her money back. I was informed that the check had been deposited but that a check would be sent to refund the $89. I called repeatedly and was told the refund had been mailed. After approximately three weeks and no refund, i went to the office. The check that they had deposited on the same day of service was miraculously still at the office and returned to me. I was told that they had sent the refund and when their check arrived to please destroy it. This incident began November 15 and interestingly enough, my mom never did receive the check they had allegedly sent to her. Needless to say, we chose another company to install the new garage door.

Hello and sorry for your bad experience and I am glad you brought this to my attention. I have gathered the office staff here to see what went wrong on our end and how to fix it. We have located the reason, our Door Salesperson had not delivered the check or forgot to during his trips to the office for an extended period of time then It also sat in our "Deposit box" unseen. I do know that there was no hesitation in returning your money and as you described, we had not even deposited the check. If you ever have a similar problem, please ask for ***** or *****. We will handle or get to the bottom of it right away for you.Customer Response

Interesting. I called daily for three weeks and asked to speak to **** each time. I was lied to repeatedly, never got a call back and eventually chose to present to the office. The lies perpetuated by Carl and his staff are shameful. I will continue to share my negative experiencesReview from Robert K

We were very pleased with the service we received and would recommend Precision to anyone needing garage repairs. We have a lot of confidence in Precision because of positive prior experience with your company and its employees. We needed to get an emergency repair done because a spring broke and we couldn't get our door open and out of our garage. The spring broke at 11:00 at night so we called the south county number the next morning at 8:00. The repair staff showed up by 8:30 and had finished the spring repairs by 10:30. We were very impressed with the work done by Brett ****** and Megan. They both were very professional and polite. They answered our questions and were very knowledgeable about what they were doing. Brett explained very thoroughly what needed to be done and how much it would cost including a senior discount.Precision Door of St Louis Inc. Response
