            I contacted Holy Smoke after the first contractor's chimney cap leaked after the first big rain and caused $1600 damage to the ceiling drywall. The new cap from Holy Smoke looked like it was made of heavier gauge stainless than the first cap. The new cap also had storm collars and the sides extended far enough down the chase to seal against the flashing well, the first cap had none of these features and cost $100 more. Its been about 6 months and I just went ** in the attic to check. Dry as a bone, so I finally pulled the tubs and tarps I had up there to catch the leaks from the first cap. If your in the market for a new cap, save yourself some headaches and call these guys first. Thanks ***!
