            we have had accounts with them for years- trying to close the account now for more than 18 months, getting the run around- last excuse was that we filled in the wrong address to where the check was going to be sent- obviously they changed the address (even if it was by their mistake- it is a pdf form that is not secure) we just want our money back. this is not the only complaint by clients- similar complaints are seen in the web on reviews that are independent to them

            I have an IRA administered by 3rd party Udirect Ira, which provides customer care services for AET. Recently I wired funds to AET from my LLC which were to be rerouted back to my private account (as required by the IRS). AET is holding the funds and will not transfer them. When I contacted them, they referred me to Udirect IRA and told me they could not discuss my account. Udirect began by telling me the routing numbers were incorrect, then there was another error on the form, then their compliance department had to re-review the request. Finally they admitted the hold is with AET and they have no information as to why. AET will not discuss it. It appears as though they have confiscated my money.
