Discount air installed a new AC unit at my house months ago. Since the install the unit gas not worked properly. It is consistently only able to cool the house with in 4-10+ degrees of the temp it is set to. The unit is extremely loud to the point you have to raise your voice to be heard when speaking in the hallway. My electric bill has has tripled since this install as well. My electric bill has never been higher than around 200 anywhere I have lived in Vegas including larger homes. I'm now getting electric bills close to 700 a month. The owner Kari refuses to answer phone calls. She now will respond through text after complaining to the finance company. Yet each time we speak to her it's an argument. We just spent 10k on an AC it's summer we have pets and children and need the AC to work. This has been a complete nightmare dealing with her. We have to had to cancel meetings appointments and vacation plans to try and accommodate the times someone has to come to look at or work on the unit due to her lack of empathy and communication. We just want the AC we spent 10k on to work and to honestly never deal with this company again. If the amount of money wasn't so high I would just have a new company come remove and install but I'm not in a financial situation to spend another 10k. If she is going to continue refusing to communicate and replace the unit. I honestly just want it removed and to be refunded so I can work with a legitimate professional company. This entire situation has been horrible not to mention dealing with the heat at the same time.
