We paid Turf Surfers Lawn and Sprinkler a total of $75.00 on November 5th, 2021 to come out to our residence and blow out our sprinkler system and turn it off before the winter so that our sprinkler pipes wouldn't freeze and burst. To our knowledge at the time of the transaction, Turf Surfers had fulfilled their commitment of blowing out our sprinkler system.Recently, we attempted to contact Turf Surfers on three separate occasions during the weeks of May 9th, 2022 and May 16th, 2022 - two calls directly to the owner, and a third call to the business on May 18th, 2022, and left voice messages, but never received any callbacks. These calls were placed with the intent to have Turf Surfers come back to our residence to turn our sprinkler system back on. With nobody returning our calls, we decided to contact a new company called Sprinkler Techs to come out to our residence and turn our sprinkler system back on.Upon arriving at our residence, the owner of Sprinkler Techs informed us that our sprinkler system was not actually blown out, nor with the proper tools, causing our sprinkler system pipes to burst in several places over the winter due to water being left inside them all winter. Due to our sprinkler system being a bit older, a master technician would have needed to perform this work. The lack of knowledge of the technician from Turf Surfers who claimed to perform the original work is what caused our pipes to burst. The owner of Sprinkler Techs demonstrated all of this to be true by turning our system on, which resulted in water spraying in all directions on the outside of our house in three different locations. He estimated that the repair cost to fix our sprinkler system pipes will be $2,000-$4,000.We desire Turf Surfers Lawn and Sprinkler to come out to our residence and repair our sprinkler system pipes at no charge to us. We were willing to work this out with Turf Surfers but due to lack of ************************* we are filing a claim with the BBB.
