I had multiple years of unfiled back taxes. I knew that I had to take action before the *** would put a lien on everything I own and my assets. I received a phone call by Insight Tax Group have no idea on how they got my name, phone number and initiated a conversation, and they were telling me that I was under, the eye of the *** and they would be putting on my assets and had only a little time before it would take action. I was already nervous and afraid of what might happen so I talked in depth with the company. I went out on a lamb after seeing that they were with the BBB and an A+ rating and decided to give them the opportunity to help me , the initial fee was $12,900 which I thought was very extreme seen 3 to 4 years of my back *** filings. I did not work at all. It was shortly after that that they requested even more money by the time I was done it was $18,000 , and all they did was file the taxes there was no resolve. There was no negotiation no fresh start no negotiation to lower the fines or penalties. It was shortly after they received the money and it cleared the bank that the communication was limited and a threat of breach of contract was verbalized to myself. The taxes were filed came back owing over $300,000 over ******* that was penalties and fines, there was actually only one person in the group that I spoke with that was actually very helpful. The leader of the group I will not name is in my eyes basically an extortionist he even attempted to get more money from me after the $18,000. Thats when his true colors came out, and he basically said that he was going to wash his hands of it and that was the last I ever heard from him. I would not recommend this group to anybody I would be very careful in the dealings with them even while I have a contract, every email the group does not care about the person. They only care about how much money theyre gonna make in their dealings that was very clear for me terrible company, bad morals, and work ethics.
