I started this process back on September of 2023 when I reached out to Butterfly Effects to start ABA Therapies for my son at my home. This has been the WORST experience of my life related to getting a company to simply start providing the services that they offer. I first spoke with ********************************** and ***************************. **** then sent me an email on 25OCT indicating that ********* de los ****** was the **** assigned and that she would do the initial assessment on 30OCT. I am filing this complaint because, FOUR MONTHS later, ********* was still making incredible, unprofessional, and irresponsible excuses to justify not starting treatment for my son. FOUR MONTHS and not a single therapy for my son who needs it. This has been a JOKE of a process. ********* indicated many times that she had submitted paperwork to Tricare, my insurance, and blamed Tricare for delays, when in reality, and as confirmed by her supervisor at the time, ********************* when we talked on 07DEC, she had NOT submitted paperwork on time, resulting in many issues with the insurance. She did NOT keep us in the loop at all. Only when ************ intervened was when she finally corrected the paperwork, contacted us, and sent it in. That was back in December...fast forward to FEBRUARY, while are waiting on her promises to start here and there...she FINALLY sets a start time of 22FEB for the firs therapy. Guess what? The same day, TWO HOURS before the appt, she sends an EMAIL saying the therapist "FORGOT TO MENTION SHE HAD A MEDICAL APPT" and wanted to cancel for another WEEK! Are you KIDDING ME!? I contacted ************, who told me he was moved and now ********************* was the supervisor. I reached out and explained my frustration...what does she do? Wait a whole day to reply to my text, and then tells me she can talk with me after the weekend! Par for the course with this company! It seems ineptitude, irresponsibility and lack of care is the common denominator! We wasted a LOT of time for nothing! Abusive!!
