Plumber arrived just after 2PM. The first thing he told me was that he did not have a Water Heater and that he was just here to give me a Quote. I told him that Jill already quoted me $1,150 and that this appointment was for the Replacement. He stated that Jill is NEW and does not know the process. That a physical Quote is required. In addition, he told me that “Due to New Regulations”, the Water Heater has to be wired to the connection not plugged. When I told him that I had the Electrician his company recommended come in this morning per Jills request and all he did was check my connection, he stated again that Jill is new and does not know what she is doing and that the Electrician needs to come back for the proper connection as he is not licensed to do the connection himself, etc., etc., etc……….. In the meantime, I am now without water for three (3) days as I had to shut off my water. I got upset after the Plumber statements and told him to get out, and told him that I would call a Reliable Plumber to do the job and he told me he had to charge me $140 for the appointment. I told him I was never told about a charge and that was one of the reasons I choose his company out of the others. (Out of the four (4) I called, Two (2) that had charges and Two (2) that did not).
