On Monday April 10th, 2023 I arrived to get my 2 front windows and a strip on the windshield. I advised the salesclerk that I wanted my tints to match the rear windows. The salesclerk sold me on the most expensive tints, $374.26, stating that it would match exactly. While I was driving home, I noticed that the tints installed were not the same color as the rear windows. But since I had to go to work, I did not return to the shop. On Wednesday April 12th, I called the shop to advise that I was not happy with the tints as it is clearly darker than the back windows. I was told to brin the car in. On Friday April 14th I went back to the shop and advised the original salesclerk and the manager that this is not what I wanted. I showed them the 2 front windows and the strip on the front, that was installed by them were clearly darker than the rear windows. They made excuses and justified their product. I told them that I am very particular, and I cannot see myself driving a car where the front windows are darker than the rear windows. Especially since IT IS ILLIGEAL and I could potentially be ticketed. They continued to justify their product. I stopped them and said, please remove the tints installed because I do not want to drive a car that I am clearly going to be dissatisfied with every time I see it. They removed the illegal tints and did me a favor and took off the $50.00 fee that they charge for tint removal. Now I am out $374.26. I would not recommend Tint World for service especially since they do stand behind their work or products sold. And their focus on customers satisfaction is null. I tried to dispute it with my Credit card company, and I was advised that Tint World provided has a sign document of services. Which was signed prior to the work being started. So clearly, I would not know if it was to my satisfaction until the work is completed. Additionally and most important the tints installed were illegal.
