I was a loyal customer to **** and his company, ********************** for many years and never would have believed what I just went through this week was possible. I went to Dales Tires on Saturday, 11-18-23 because my rear left tire kept losing air and I needed it checked . I was told that it had a nail in it and they plugged it and I paid for the plug and when leaving I asked ***, the ***************** who plugged my tire, did you tighten the screws or lugs really well ? I always ask this because I have heard many horror stories about the tires literally falling off if the shop doesnt put them on properly and tighten well enough. *** said , yes they are all tightened well. And ****, the owner was right there listening and stayed quiet. When I was leaving I told them that the alert for my tire light was still on and that was the whole reason I had gone there on Saturday. And **** shouted out to me, the light will go off in ******************************************************************** 10 minutes, so **** was wrong. I called back and was told to come back on Tuesday because they are closed Sunday and Monday. I had to go to ***** and had to drive on the freeway to take my Granddaughter out. While I was in ***** with my granddaughter in the **** we heard a big banging noise not once but twice and I was very worried and even scared. I couldnt take her to dinner because I didnt want to endanger her life. I went back to Dales yesterday and **** acted like he had no idea there was a problem with my tire until the truth came out. Dales employee went to take the tire off to check it and said out loud, the lug is loose and thats the problem with the tire . And he showed me the loose lug that was jiggling around and not tightened at all. **** immediately tried to shut him up making gestures. Finally **** realized he was busted and he admitted that he knew about that lug being loose on Sat. and he let me drive out of his shop without saying a word. HOW IRRESPONSIBLE!!
