Our parents just moved into this facility (Palm Island Active adult Living) 6months ago. They had to move out of their apartment unit that they were living in, here at Palm Island due to a harassing neighbor. Palm Island was able to accommodate them and put them into another apartment unit at their facility.We moved our parents out of their unit at a very costly move, for our 88 year old parents. The problem is, the Palm Island Manager *********************** sent my wife a bill, that our parents would have to pay, for the replacement of the carpet at their apartment unit they had to vacate. The bill was for $783.00, but was reduce it to $550.00. We questioned the bill after ***** the Palm Island Manager sent ** the pictures that she had received from the carpet cleaning company (Four Seasons ********************* The pictures that ***** sent ** was not our parents apartment unit. We would not have allowed our parents to even live in that filth. My wife sent ***** an email stating that they had the wrong unit. Those pictures were from another apartment, not our parents! We asked Palm Island to walk over there and take a look at the unit to confirm our suspicion that the carpet company gave them the pictures of the wrong unit. Our father walked over there with the leasing manager **** and took pictures. Our father, was clearly shaken that they were trying to charge him for new carpet replacement. The pictures that were given were clearly, not of his unit. We are pushing this matter for our parents and possibly any other resident that has possibly been taken advantage of with this scrupulous intentions. Thank you,**********************
