Filed for a refinance and was told we were ready to close. The day after being told that I was told no loan because we had a 30 day late payment. The reason for loan was to pay everything off so there would be no late fees. **** was good to work with ****** never answered phone or return callsReview from Marian W

Seamless process to refinance with money out. My lending officer ***************, has been wonderful to work with. I find them to be extremely honest and sincere as well as very efficient. It's very easy to contact him if I have any questions or concerns. And he's just basically a pleasant person. I felt very comfortable working with him.LoanDepot Response

Loan Depot had a "glitch" in their system over Labor Day weekend. They cancelled my loan payment and sent me email that they had done so. I tried calling to find out no was working. So I went online and made my payment again since they cancelled my payment. At this point in time, my mortgage is now being posted 1 week AFTER I originally scheduled it. I tried to reach them the first day they should have been open after the holiday, and I couldn't reach anyone. I messaged them through their secure portal and got no reply. I called and again was "asked to leave a message"????!!!! I send another secure portal message and no reply. I got on the online chat for a second time and got a person named ******* Real peppy gal without much empathy. She informed me Loan Depot was posting the original payments for 9/3 and she could not return the 2nd payment I made, and they would be taking BOTH payments. I am thoroughly disgusted.LoanDepot Response

Do not waste your time. They got me approved for their down payment assistance program but did not inform me until closing that the assistance program was a down payment loan. I did not find out until closing and then had to come up with almost 15K to close. That was 5K more than I was originally told. Now a month and a half later when my loans are due, I cannot pay on my down payment loan because they aren't sure who they sent the loan to. The company listed on my closing documents has no record of my loan or me. They failed to request the foundation inspection in time and I was told they would cover this cost as it was their error. I'm still getting collection emails for this as they have not paid the company for their work. I was informed today that the upper management at Loan Depot did not approve that expense so they would not be paying it. The down payment loan and the foundation invoice are all in my name and it now looks like I don't pay my bills. I do not recommend!!!LoanDepot Response

They are very helpful, knowledgeable and they communicate with you very well. They helped us when I thought nobody could and were very polite. **** was especially awesome, he answered questions before we got the chance to ask them because he is that good.LoanDepot Response
