Date of the transaction in question was 07/06/2021. The amount of the transaction for $1,995. Was paid to PFA . When I first called in I advised the representative that I was beginning a Freight Brokerage company and I have to have a $75,000 ****** Surety Bond. The representative advised me that she was able to help. She assisted and filled all of my information in the app for me. I asked the same question again to confirm this application was for a ****** Surety Bond, she stated yes. The nature of this dispute is to request a refund for the full amount as I was not provided what I requested. This is required by the ***** in order for my business to be active. I would've never purchased a ****** Trustor as I have no use for it. I reached out to resolve the issue and the business declines. A representative stated I would not be receiving a refund and hung up on me. This is totally unacceptable and is not the way customers shall be treated. I truly believe that because I was new to this industry and a 72 year old woman. I was taken advantage of. They refuse to resolve the issue amongst myself and them. So I've taken the liberty to reach out with assistance.

Pacific Financial Association is insurance provider for Broker ******************************* We filed on the Broker Bond since we didnt received a full payment for the load ( we are a carrier) **** handaling the case since Sept. 2023, Comunication with her is awful, she siding with the broker without any evidance. All documentation Rate confirmation, Broker / Carrier Agreement don't show any deduction however ****** took almost half of the payment without informing us. We find out that he deduct $150 for driver being late with delivery and additional $120 without any explanantion. All documents is in our favor but agent still playing games with us. **** the agent from claim department is very incompetent and can make a clear decision based on facts. She dont want to call shipper and receiver on her own to confirm the ***** and what exactly happen. She's going back and forth between me and broker by sending an email every 2 months. I do not recomend this Company to anybody. They are not customer friendly, very rude and they just want to keep as much as possible for them self. They should never run a business in *********************** they are more ***** friendly Business!!!

******** filed against a broker bond we administer claiming they did not receive full payment for a load they hauled at the direction of the brokerage. The documentation shows the load was to pay $700 picking up in MI and delivering in IL. When claimant companys driver arrived at the shipper location in MI, the drive contacted the brokerage advising they needed $250 via *** funds to pay a loading fee to the shipper. The brokerage issue the $250 to the driver by providing him an *** code over the phone. Once the driver was loaded, he proceeded to complete the delivery in IL and then the claimant company billed the brokerage for the full $700. When invoicing the brokerage, the claimant company did not provide a receipt for the alleged loading fees. The Brokerage then contacted the shipper and was advised they did not charge any fee for loading. The brokerage deducted the $270 from the agreed $700 rate and paid the remaining balance of $430 to the claimant. ******** then filed a claim with us for the remaining $270. Upon filing the claim, the claimant advised she was deducted $250 for late fees and $20 for the *** processing fee. The Claimant advised the driver was late but only 1 hour late. She was asked multiple time if she could supply the driver logs to prove the pick up time however none were provided. The claimant provided the rate confirmation issued by the brokerage and the *** showing late pick up and delivery but no receipt for the alleged $250 loading fee. After communicating with the brokerage, we were advised that the $250 was not a late fee deduction but a deduction for the *** payment made to the claimants driver on the day of pickup. Per the brokerage, the claimant advised the brokerage that while the code was provided to the driver, the driver did not access the funds but turned the code over to the shipper for payment. There has been no proof of this and we cannot determine who accessed the funds. While the claimant alleges that we refused to contact the shipper to verify this, we did in fact contact the accounting department for the shipping company and they verified they do not charge loading fees nor late fees and would not have accepted the *** code as a loading fee. Given this information, we disputed the claim as the agreed rate was $700 and claimants driver received $250 via an *** code and the remaining $430 was paid to the claimant via an ACH payment.
