I want to start by saying that the guys that work at this shop are some great people. I share this because I don't actually know who worked on my car, but the guys I talked with were very nice. However, I am very unhappy with the work that was done on my car. It took longer then expected and when my car was done, I ended up with more problems then when I gave them my car. I needed to have my AC unit replaced and my steering wheel was making noise whenever I went over a bump. They fixed both of these problems, however, when I got the car back, the steering wheel was put on at an angle, the plastic rails that go in the door jam were put on backwards, and my door locks stopped working. So now I had a situation where my car would not lock at all. Not manually, not from the keys, nothing. So I contacted them and took my car back over. Over the course of four days, they put the steering wheel on correctly, and turned the rails around. However, the door locks were still an issue. They attempted to get them to work, however, something was wrong with my alarm system. So they were able to get the locks to work well enough that the doors would lock, but only by putting the physical key in the door. My alarm was completely disconnected. At this point, they referred me to a friend, who is an electrical specialist and in a different part of the county. He would work on my car to try and get the alarm system to work. So a few days later, I took my car to him and in a few hours he told me it was done. I went to pick it up, the car started and I drove off. I drove a few miles away for an appointment and when I went to get back into my car, it unlocked, but now it would not start. The car started honking and continued honking because the lock/unlock system on my keys was not working. Since my car would not start, I had to call a tow truck to then try and get it towed back to the shop, and have him fix it. This then happened another 2 times in the same day. I took my car, drove off, went somewhere, and the car would not start. He finally disconnected everything and gave it back to me. He told me that the security system did not work anymore and it needed to be replaced. He also shared with me that it was nothing that the previous shop did. Which I do understand that things wear out over time. However, it was very interesting how all of this worked previously, and now it does not. I had a bad feeling about this, and I was right. Prior to taking my car from ******* shop, I was informed they would pay for the damage if it was anything they did, and when I picked up my car from the 2nd shop, he told me that it was not their fault, and was nothing that ******* shop did. I really have a hard time believing this, and from a customer point of view, this looks like someone is covering up for a friend. I am reporting this because after talking with multiple people, there is little I can do. I am frustrated about the manipulation and sometimes wonder if I should have taken this to court. There is an obvious problem that was not fixed in my car and in my opinion was caused by the work from ******* auto shop. They had me take my car to a friend so this could all get covered up. I wish there was more I could do, but I do not wish to spend more time and money going to court. This already cost me 2 weeks of leaving work early, borrowing cars, and being driven around by others. In fact, I was not even going to type up this review until yesterday when I cleaned out my car and found 2 small bolts hidden under a blanket in my back seat. This was the deciding factor for me. I was not told about this, and I still wonder where inside my dash these bolts came from. But clearly someone messed up my security system, was careless in putting the steering wheel, forceful with putting the door rails on backwards, and now I have 2 random bolts that I didn't even know about until I went to clean out my car. In the end, I will never take my car back here.
