On Nov. 11, 2022, I took my *** down for a rear bumper replacement that was needed after an accident that pushed the bumper up on one side. The quoted me $1,175 and I authorized the work. When I went back to pick up my truck, I notices that the bumper was still not level and they told me there was a piece of metal where the new bumper attaches to that was bent, that they did not fix. When I asked why, they said it was not in the insurance estimate.Frustrated, I drove away up and a hill and the back door opened. It was not latched. I turned around and told them that the back door was not closing. They looked and then got a big, heavy wrench type tool and tried to pull up the hook that the door connects with. That seemed to work for a minute and I went home. A couple days later, the back door swung open again. I tried closing it and went on with the day. A week later, it happened again. (I was only driving the car once a week then).I took the car back again, got out that big tool and tried to "lift up the hook" again. Then they looked and said that the metal where the hook was mounted was damage and needed to be welded back into place to ensure the latch connection stayed in tack. I told them I'd bring it back but then got into an accident that took me out for a few months. Fast forward to Tuesday, Feb. 28, I was transporting kids with lacrosse gear in the back and the back door came open again. I took the *** back and the men their remembered the problem and told me to come back today, Thursday, for them to weld what they needed to in order to fix it. I went there today and they said they could not do it today and that I should have brought it back when it originally was a problem. I said I did and their fix didn't work. I told them I have kids that I need to transport to sports games twice a week and needed the back door to be secure. They said it wasn't their problem and walked away. They know they didn't fix it right the first time.
