They charged me passed my one year annual agreement and refused to refund for extra months charged stating it was on my contract. Must have been in small print to allow this business to take advantage of consumers. I only signed on for a year agreement and hadnt even gone in at least 10months due to poor service, long lines, and excessive ride closures that cause even further line congestion. This place is horrible.Review from Joilene H

If I could give no stars I would. Our hotel room was disgustingly dirty and the second night I found a cockroach in my bed right before going to sleep. I went down to management and let them know. They told me they could comp me the "resort fee" which is $30...this is a joke. Our pool was closed multiple days during our stay. The waterpark kids pool/area was also closed when we visited this past weekend inside Legoland. We booked a suite with three kids and I can't believe the disrepair this hotel is in. Wallpaper peeling off the walls, main dining area is extremely noisy and chaos, carpets were so dirty our kids feet were black, cockroach in our bed, no flat sheets on the kids beds and dusts everywhere. I would highly suggest avoiding this hotel and stay at the Sheraton or something just as close with park access. I have still not received a follow up from hotel management or anyone emailing me in regards to any refund. Horrible customer service and no follow through from anyone at the resort.Review from Susana G

We stayed the April *****th at the legoland castle hotel. On the 24th we were getting ready to go to the water park when we found a cockroach in our bed. We showed housekeeping since they were in the hallway and she made us aware that she was going to let management know what part of the hotel has roaches!! She picked up the ***** with a paper and took it with her made us aware she would be back to clean our room. When we returned from the water park I mentioned it to front office and she switched us rooms. When we returned the room had not need cleaned and the ***** stain still in the bed. I contacted experience legoland and we just received a sorry for the inconvenience keychains. Not worth the stay and with roaches. I want a refund my kids have asthma and with roaches that is a issue.Review from Melissa M

So upset. We booked during the week (Tuesday and Wednesday) for my sons birthday thinking it would be less crowded than a weekend. We paid the same full price ticket as the people that go on the weekend pay but wouldnt you know ithalf of the attractions and food places are closed except for random restaurants no kid would ever eat at. I mean they close the pizza place but leave the ramen house open? And the things that are open are mostly broken and not maintained. I get that staffing shortages are a thing right now but why on earth are they charging full price for tickets when they know full well half of the park is closed. Oh and of course on top of that guess what days the hotel pool is randomly closed? Yep Tuesday and Wednesday. I never ever want to come backReview from Matt H

EVERYTHING IS AWSOME? Ya right! Awful and misleading marketing campaign. We booked the 2-night special (buy one day get the second free). We were supposed to have full access to the entire place and early entrance. We bought this for our grandsons Christmas present. When we woke up on the second morning and they randomly CLOSED the park saying because of Covid-19. They also cancelled the theme dinner we pre-purchased. They would not even consider a refund or any fault on their part. Horrible customer service and was hung up on multiple times. The Covid-19 thing is total BS because I bet they are open before the pandemic ends. This behavior by big business should be outlawed in the US. They are the ones canceling not us, we flew people in, etc.? I will never come back to this pit.Review from Melissa H

Bought our tickets to Legoland on black Friday to save $10. The blackout dates showed Christmas and New Years only. Made our reservations, drove to Legoland, paid $25 for parking. My children have been looking forward to this so much.... we have a countdown on the wall. Our tickets aren't working, so we go to customer service. They say we can't use our tickets until January 3rd. I show them the tickets, the email, and all of the details that I took a screenshot of. Absolutely nothing stated that we could not go to the park until January 3rd. My youngest son is balling his eyes out and the manager ****** just smirks at us. No apologies at all. Tells us he can refund our tickets and we can pay full price for new ones. We don't have that kind of money. He does not care. Doesn't even offer my kid a button or us a refund for parking. I had to insist we at least get that back with gas at almost $5 a gallon. who conducts business like this? What kind of a person smirks at a crying child? This is not okay. I'm betting people will be driving from out of state to use these tickets since it allows them to reserve the day too. How awful.Review from ATUL M

NEVER EVER VISIT LEGOLAND CALIFORNIA...ITS NOT AT ALL SAFE FOR ********** FAMILY...WORST EVER FIRST EXPERIENCE WITH LEGOLAND, CALIFORNIA...It was my Twins 7th Birthday for which I had a 2-Day theme park and 1 night ************ reservation with my family. We checked in to ************ on 09/27/2021 at 5:34pm (as we were enjoying our 2nd day at the theme park) and checked out on 09/28/2021 at around 9am. We got the room number **** which we found was VERY UNCLEANED and reported it to the front desk by visiting personally (as the telephone was dirty too). Just after reporting, we went out for dinner and surprisingly when we came back (at around 8:40) to the room, the cleaning was STILL NOT DONE. I visited the front desk again where I spoke with *********************** ************* Manager) and told her the whole story. She offered me to Switch the room with a different theme as the same theme room wasn't available but I declined as we booked this theme as per my kids request and I didn't want to ruin their excitement. And moreover, she did not give me any good reason why the room was NOT cleaned even when we were not around for more than 3 hours. And surprisingly that was too during the late evening hours when cleaning staff wasn't busy. Now as we know that cleanliness is the most important thing for almost everyone for us nowadays and moreover it wasn't expected from LEGOLAND at all, I need a proper resolution to it before I post this on social media and make it A LEGAL COMPLAINT. I must say that CARLSBAD SUITS were way better than LEGOLAND (during our 2 night stay), at least in the CLEANLINESS.I SENT THIS ABOVE IN AN EMAIL ON OCT 4 and since then I haven't received any resolution on this. ************************* (Guest Experience Managing Team) contacted me only when she wanted to ask some STUPID questions, otherwise she never responded on my emails. Got a call from ***** on a Friday the October 15th at 2:42pm wherein she promised for a FULL REFUND but she also VANISHED since then.Review from Kathleen W.

Absolutely terrible. Arrived at hotel and valet brought luggage to room an hour later. The suite that was supposed to accomodate7 comfortablyit would have to be gerbils). Every surface thick with dust, trash in the pull-out couch mattress and only as thick as a pancake with pillows so lumpy they had to be filled with LEGOs, dim lighting, bad smell, and one bathroom for 7!! We called for fresh sheets and 2 blankets as their werent any45 minutes later we received sheets, a mattress cover and 1 blanket. The next morning we headed for the pool which was closed and were told it might open at 5 pm. Headed into lego land park and made it through one ride without incident. The second ride broke down leaving us suspended over at least 50 foot drop with our children terrified (and adults) for ***** minutes before they could get us turned around but still locked in seats and eventually manually released. Kids too traumatized to go on another ride. Many of the attractions were closed anyway. Headed to our expensive delux cabana to find most of the water park closed. The cabana host kept repeating you shouldnt worry about that, enjoy the nice day ordered food for kids and drinks. Got foodno drinksoh Ill get those. 45 minutes later we dont have cokes or coffee. 15 minutes later we got one little bottle of wine and some water. By this time it was almost comical. We paid full price for half the amenities and park attractions. The guy says come back in two years and well be better. Left park and headed to hotel to swimpool finally opened at 5pm and then closed at 7pm. Very expensive joke. Will never return.
