OK so my incident actually happened today which is 3 January **** I came to the *** dealership in El Cajon looking to get my car serviced which I agreed to pay $1300 for them to fix the sensor on my tire my tire, and the rim that have been because I had driven my car without There being air in the tire so I was denied a loaner vehicle once I was towed prior to coming that I will be receiving a loaner when I got here. I was denied a loaner vehicle because I presented my passport. They told me that they are not able to except passports. I said OK no problem I have my papers, his drivers license my credit card, and also my insurance which it states in their policy those are all things that they were able to except however, when I presented mine, they did not want to except them . He asked the manager the manager declined however, I dont see why also too I asked him to show me where in black-and-white does it state this on their policy he was not able to show me.

I honestly dont know what happened to the management at *** El Cajon, but, it has me going to a different dealer. I brought my X2 in for an oil change and tire, and the mechanics belt buckle k**** were indented in my car all the way to the metal. They took photos when my car came there but, the manager on duty ******************* told me it was already there. I guess he just knew ahead of time, like before I got there. However, before the manager spoke to me, ****** was my customer service agent and looked over and agreed completely with the indent, the height of it and he also stated, I dont think he used a pad to protect the car when he was working on it, I know the mechanic is new but, thats what theyre supposed to do.I know my car and I know they also took good photos of my car with the iPad, which by the way they wouldnt let me see when I asked to see them. **** gave me such a hard time and raised his *********** repeatedly, when I did the same, which is what he was looking for, he told me that if I spoke up again, Id have to leave. **** made sure that he had ****** the customer service agent come with him to stand there like his bodyguard, just to intimidate me. And the conversation me and ****** had, he quickly forgot when the manager called him. That was about the most unprofessional action Ive ever seen. I realize *********** native language is not English, so theres no buffers, no softening when he argues, which is supposed to be just talking but, surely at a *** brand name store isnt the place for back yard bullies.I had to take the complaint to **************** to get my car fixed. When they made an appointment to fix my car, again ******************* began to speak to me unprofessionally and guaranteed me that nothing, but paint would be put on my car, so dont think youre getting anything new. Can you imagine?I highly recommend *** of *********, theyre all amazing. If you buy your car at a certain store doesnt mean you have to continue to go there.

    BMW of El Cajon Response

    Hello,

the guest did come to our service center with the concern of the left front along with some maintenance items the tire required replacement. The guest came back a week later stating we damaged the left front fender, the only thing we could see were the rock chips (several within the same area) The vehicle does not have a protective film of any type. Management has a different view as to how everything transpired but we wont go into that. In the end the center will not be responsible for something it did not cause. We did assist the guest by touching up the rock chip and asked the guest not to insult anyone any further.
