Inogen continues to bill my insurance for rental fees even though the equipment was a purchase not a rental. My pulmonologist has sent a prescription stating I no longer qualify for oxygen as they keep billing for service fees as well. An Inogen employee named B****** recently confirmed that the equipment was a purchase, that I own it outright and that the note from my doctor was received, yet they sent another bill a week later having billed my insurance again for illegitimate fees. To me this amounts to Medicare fraud. They won’t call me back and continue to ignore requests to resolve the issue. A very shady and untrustworthy, unethical company.Review from Jamey O

Product is great. The customer service people are incompetent. I've talked to two that actually know the product. I was told I owned my equipment and next call I was told I did not. The canister in the home concentrator needed to be replaced. Instead of sending the canister they sent a DeVilbliss piece of junk and a return box for my Inogen. Had issues with the replacement so they sent another one same brand. Then find out they are no longer in my insurance network. Called to get a return box and find out they should have sent a new Inogen home unit because I OWN IT! So to return their equipment, they sent just a label, no box. I had to call and be in hold for 40 minutes just to get a box. And then I m told when I get the box call back to get the label sent. Got the box-Its for an Inogen and too small for the DeVilbliss. So now I have to start all over again!!! Unless they get better Customer Service I COULD NOT RECCOMMEND THIS COMPANY. It scares me to think what would happen if I were having an oxygen emergency!!Review from Dorothy B

Bought a refurbished at-home concentrator mid November 2023 through the Plano, TX facility. One-year warranty. Concentrator failed in May 2024. Customer Service hold times were extreme with no option for a call-back, so called my sales rep, Shane (sales depts. always answer the phone). He messaged them, and eventually they called back, and eventually shipped a replacement. The replacement failed in June 2024. Same story, except that Shane was "on another call ... will call you back ASAP." Never called back. Now I want them to come get it and refund my money. Two pieces of junk in less than a year. I left the message, no response.Review from Chuck J

The Inogen unit is ok until you have to call customer service. You will then be on hold for 30 minutes to 2 hours before you get a customer service agent and you only have a 50/50 chance that they will help you. ***** JReview from Judy A

Purchased a G4 model for my husband's use, paying a large amount of money out of pocket. The very first use the battery only last one hour. Called complaint line, they sent a new battery to us, we were told to put the old battery back into the same box, put the return label on the outside and drop the box into a UPS drop box. We did not receive a return label, had to drive 40 mile round trip to nearest UPS store and pay out of pocket to send the battery back. Two days later....Machine is making very loud noises when running, battery will not hold charge and machine gets extremely hot. Have called customer service every day for 3 weeks now, no human will answer the phone, I have been on hold up to 2 hours at a time. Have sent the company several Emails and no one will answer them. Have called corporate office and have been told That office does not deal with such matters. Who can we turn to? This company needs to take this faulty machine back and return our $ 3200.00.Review from Cortne K

My patient has been waiting 6 WEEKS FOR DELIVERY!! The CEO, K**** ***** can not even "try" to help!!!! With as many choices today for oxygen, DEFINITELY MARK THIS COMPANY INOGEN OFF YOUR LIST!! You will die before they, or CEO K**** ***** will supply your oxygen!!! BEWARE OF THIS COMPANY ??Review from Richard P

Portable oxygen concentrator is poorly designed. A G4 faile 3 times in 2 years then The mother board of the unit is broken because the charging port is mounted in such a way as that the charging connector cuses it to move and damage and get burneded losing its connection. It is a common problem with them as I have learned from investigation. This unit only has 274 hours on it This is NOT an issue with sieve columns not workug effieciantly due to lack of use, or batteries that go to sleep. the unit is faulty. they will no longer repair it. They won't provide parts. Bad company sellng inferior products that they wont stand behind..
