D*** ****** presented 35 year great company, good ethics. Sold me defective Lennox 11/22 for $12K, said not his fault. But he IS responsible. Barely used in winter. Contacted them 1/2, house wouldn’t warm up well and air blow in bedroom weak. Summer, temperature won’t go below 86, higher in bedroom, air flow weak. Tried to reach him, didn’t hear for a few days.Technician changed compressor,said problem with air flow is b/c of bedroom location. After 2 days house in low 90’s. AC would be replaced, would arrive a work week away. Almost 2 weeks of extreme temperatures.I am 69 y/o disabled with Parkinson’s, kidney disease and diabetes. Had heat exhaustion,dehydration, unstable blood pressure, dizziness, fatigue, lightheadedness, afraid of falling, headaches, body hurt b/c couldn’t cool down. Called weekend of 7/15 scheduled Tue. 8:00-9:30. While at UCLA hospital on Monday, D**** called sending technician that morning 8:00-10:00. It was about 10:00 then. I said I’m on for Tue. Said weekend person made mistake.Called Tue. after 9:30, no show, told technician will arrive at noon. No show,told 12:30, no show. C**** came 1:30-2:00 did part of the job and a team came hours later. Went up to the attic fixed air blow.4 visits to do it right.Told Diana need compensation. I was in severe health risk, pain and suffering. House was 91 degrees, took a whole day to get job done. Almost 2 weeks ordeal. l asked $1K. M***** didn’t apologize, lied about verbally abusing staff. I waited hours in 90-91 degrees.Was defensive, claimed expenses to replace AC. Intimidated me, transferred my letter to attorney and accused me of extortion. Making unfounded threats to obtain an unfair business advantage. That’s defamation of my character.I asked for compensation. Money, awarded as a recompense for loss, injury, or suffering. When signed contract said first maintenance check is free and next ones $75. Now he says he will offer only when related to 5 year warranty. It’s ilegal bridge of contract!
