    10.19.21, trusted mechanic tuned up engine. 12.13.21, paint recall and got second opinion. Rear brakes, upper and lower radiator hoses, and service the battery (Invoice number 685729). 7 to 10 business days. 12.28.21, text car ready. Paid $1266.57, ordered mats per Invoice, and car was not on-site. 1.14.22, car returned. Questioned hoses and battery; Andy with Tech assured all good. Got home, had a pool of coolant under the vehicle, hose detached, texted pictures. Options: can send technician or can drive here (no comm. of liabilities or consequences by the professional). Had work, drove ill-advised, car poorly repaired. Engine overheated and destroyed. 1.17.22, Andy and Richard quoted for new engine. “Thermostat failed,” “no way of knowing.” Andy said they would take a part both engines, use best pieces to build the best engine possible and fix all needed, timing belt, was future work of initial invoice. Andy said yes. Agreed upon me covering cost of engine (1500) and they do all other parts and labor. 1.20.22, Mary harried and paid 750, said all taken care of. Andy stated car ready, doublechecked by lead foreman, detailing. 1.21.22, they said I owe 1660, then 750, then “forgot to input code,” and then “finishing detailing.” Had to ask for my mats separately. Oil level signed off by Richard. 1.31.22, my trusted mechanic said oil leaking from engine, refuted all the excuses given. 2.1.22, emailed Ventura Toyota, not happy with their responses, I went up chain of command. 2.11.22, HQ Toyota North America, signed and received my Complaint Letter. Spoke with HQ 2.17, 18, 24, 25, &28.22 on last day I followed Henry’s advice and emailed again after 2.24.22 emails with GM failed. No paper expected to sign provided despite requesting. 3.7.22, trusted mechanic assessed engine since didn’t work with them. Seems old engine taken out, “new” engine dropped in. old oil filter, not bolted correctly. Spoke with HQ again 3.7.22 and 5.17.22, exhausted all options.

    Replaced my keys with 2012 remote,and purchased SUV in 2004 also Vin number is missing on vehicle when they replaced the dashboard and mileage is off too. Blue 4 runner!! Sincerely D.H.

    Hello D****, We have been talking with this customer for several years regarding her concerns. We have asked the customer to contact the Police Department to report her issues. We advised the customer we are unable to replace the VIN number on the vehicle and the mileage issue is from 2008, 13 years ago.
