I called Connec to see if they could replace my cable TV with individual antennas and streaming devices. My living room TV is part of Home Theater system last updated by Connec in 2017. On June 23, at my home, Edward said his company could do that but I must buy the antennas at Best Buy-- they carried what I needed. On July 8, two technicians came to my house and I told them the Best Buy salesman said their antennas may not work for WWBT. After research I ordered UHF/VHF antennas due to arrive that afternoon. I suggested the technicians install the streaming devices and come back to do the antennas. They installed the streaming devices in 1 1/2 hours spending remaining 2 hrs trying to make the wrong antennas work. I did not hear back from Connec so after calling them twice, Edward called me 2 weeks later to sell me an internet upgrade I did not need. I expressed my dismay over the time they spent trying to make the wrong antennas work--His response was that his company had never done this before. The technicians came back on July 20 and struggled for 4 hours with the placement of the antennas, ignoring my suggestions to place them right next to TV (which did work). They left without testing the multi-purpose remote they sold me in 2017 to see if it would work for streaming. For a few weeks I struggled to figure out how to use remote so I could watch my living room TV. Meanwhile Connec billed me $**** for 8 hours labor and $** in parts. I called in late August to say the remote was not working and to express my shock that I had been billed for 8 hours while the technicians experimented with the antennas. I was told that Edward would call me but he never did, even after more requests over the next 3 months. I called again in early December to say that the living room antenna was now not working. Edward still refused to discuss resolving the problem. I was told my bill would be sent to collection--a bill for something that didn't work!
