After several years of asking family if they knew anyone who did asphalt or gravel work for our NC home and the answer every time was "NO". Once, my mother's car got stuck in the mud, I knew it was time for me to search the internet for a contractor. I desired three quotes, but I located two companies and one company did not call back. However, ***** called immediately and was willing to come to the home in a short period of time to give a quote. We asked for a quote for all gravel, and a portion of gravel and asphalt. When he gave the quote of both gravel and asphalt the asphalt cost was higher than gravel. I called him and asked what was the difference between the both and he explained the difference. What I thought was noble was that ***** did not push the asphalt over gravel because it was the higher price. He said "it's up to you what you want to do." "It's your decision."
I had to text him multiple times to verify or clarify the scope of the work and each time he responded in a timely manner. Lastly, once we arrived in NC for our family vacation, my mother wanted a change in the gravel location, for she preferred the gravel to extend more north rather than south. Even with this last minute change ***** was willing to make the change.
The gravel and asphalt looks great. My family loves the mixed choice and I would give ten (10) stars if I could based on flexibility, time, honesty, and work production. It was great working with ***** and staff! I wish I could steal you for some of my projects for my home.

P.S. I did not state good value because I did not receive any other quotes and I am not sure what is considered to be good value in NC without comparisons. However, I was fine with the cost as it appeared reasonable to me.
